Despite His Offensive Gibberish, Beto Made Bank in 1st Fundraising Haul

O’Rourke’s campaign just stunned the democratic party, who themselves were still cringing from Beto’s “born to” run for President remarks to Vanity Fair.

The democrats have a serious problem on their hands for 2020, and the antics of Robert Francis O’Rourke isn’t helping.

With still plenty of time for the field to expand, the left is already sending forth sixteen candidates for President in 2020.  This does not include Joe Biden, who is almost certainly running, even having to correct himself for saying so in a stump speech.

This dilution of ideals will almost certainly be disastrous for the democrats, who’ve already eroded the American people’s trust in them after the deplorable behavior of Hillary Clinton in the 2016 contest.

Worse still for the left is the fact that their de facto “frontrunner” was just out-fundraised by a newcomer with a penchant for mysticism and “destiny”.

Beto O’Rourke raised $6.1 million in his first 24 hours as a presidential candidate, according to his campaign, surpassing Bernie Sanders and every other 2020 Democrat who has disclosed their figures.

O’Rourke’s campaign announced Monday that he had taken in $6,136,763 in online contributions in the day after declaring his candidacy Thursday morning.

“Beto” was quick to chime in on the accomplishment.

“In just 24 hours, Americans across this country came together to prove that it is possible to run a true grassroots campaign for president — a campaign by all of us, for all of us, that answers not to the PACs, corporations, and special interests but to the people,” O’Rourke, who has sworn off PAC donations of any kind, said in a statement.

O’Rourke’s first foray into the mainstream of presidential politics was through an article in Vanity Fair last week in which the candidate candidly spoke about the “destiny” that he felt in running for President; something that he seemed to say he was “born to do”.

Jerry Nadler’s ‘Spray and Pray’ Subpoena Schtick Targets More White House Insiders

For Jerry Nadler, denial isn’t just a river in Egypt.

Jerry Nadler

There is an obvious pall of discontent hanging over the democratic party in the wake of the release of the Mueller report. Robert Mueller’s 22 month long investigation into the “RussiaGate” conspiracy theory has left us with more questions than answers, at least in some regard, as President Trump and his team continue to tout the report’s broader realizations.  “No obstruction, no collusion” has become a battlecry as of late, even as federal lawmakers insist that Mueller intended for Congress to make a decision on the “obstruction” piece. Of the democrats looking to continue their digging into the now-completed Mueller report, Jerry Nadler has been instrumental in stoking the fires of discontent, scattering subpoenas throughout Washington DC in hopes of “getting” President Trump…one way or another. His latest legal maneuver is targeting Don McGhan, former White House counsel, who disobeyed the President’s wishes, according to the Mueller report. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., on Monday subpoenaed former White House counsel Don McGahn to testify publicly next month following last week’s release of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report on the Russia investigation. Nadler described McGahn, who stepped down as White House counsel in October 2018, as “a critical witness to many of the alleged instances of obstruction of justice and other misconduct described in the Special Counsel’s report.” “The Special Counsel’s report, even in redacted form, outlines substantial evidence that President Trump engaged in obstruction and other abuses,” Nadler said. “It now falls to Congress to determine for itself the full scope of the misconduct and to decide what steps to take in the exercise of our duties of oversight, legislation and constitutional accountability.” Nadler has given McGhan a set of deadlines as well, urging the former Trump lawyer to testify before May 21, and provide underlying documents regarding…

President Trump and Family Sue Congress Over Tax Tussle

The President is fighting back against the “resistance” democrats who subpoenaed his tax returns…but will the tactic work?

Democrats the nation over are digging in their heels after the release of the Mueller report, vowing to continue “resisting” the President no matter what, and by any means necessary. The media have done their part by continuing to divide the nation down political lines in ways that our nation hasn’t seen since The Civil War.  These cable-news cheerleaders are hoping that the nation erupts into chaos, as it will provide them with juicy, can’t-miss television to fuel their advertisers. In this continued crusade to somehow “get” the President, a number of prominent democrats are now revisiting the fight to have the President’s tax returns made public…something that Trump himself has fought nail and tooth against. Now, the Commander in Chief is taking his fight to the next level with a lawsuit. President Donald Trump and his business filed suit against Democratic House Oversight Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings on Monday to block a subpoena sent last week seeking information about the president’s finances. In the complaint filed in Washington, D.C., federal court Monday morning, Trump’s lawyers said that Democrats have “declared all-out political war” against him. “Subpoenas are their weapon of choice,” the filing states. The lawsuit comes just days after a congressional committee filed subpoenas for several years’ worth of Donald Trump’s tax returns. The President has long avoided making such records public, citing advice from his lawyers regarding ongoing federal audits of the data.
