It never ends…

President Trump could rid the world of a terrible disease single-handedly and certain people would still find a way to attack him.

Why eradicate this disease and not that one, Donny!?

Oh, well.

Even after declaring a national emergency at the southern border, Trump is still getting pushback from Democrats.

Now, Senate Dems have introduced legislation to prevent POTUS from using disaster relief funds.

From The Hill:

A group of Senate Democrats, including several 2020 contenders, have introduced legislation that would prevent President Trump from using disaster relief funds to finance a wall along the southern border.

The “Protecting Disaster Relief Funds Act” would block Trump from taking funds allocated to the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Housing and Urban Development or the Army Corps of Engineers for disaster relief and using that money to construct physical barriers along the U.S.-Mexico border.

The Democrats backing the bill include several senators who have already entered the presidential race — Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) — as well as Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), who is reportedly on the verge of making his announcement.

Trump is using an executive order from Barack Obama to march forward with the wall.

From Law And Crime:

President Donald Trump held a wide-ranging Friday press conference in which he reiterated that if “you don’t have a border, you don’t have a country,” defending his invocation of the National Emergencies Act to help fund the building of The Wall. The president said he aims to stop illegal immigration, the influx of drugs and criminal into America. He cited past emergency declarations, including one by President Barack Obama, that Trump said targeted cartels.

As it turns out, back in 2011 then-President Barack Obama issued an executive order “blocking property of transnational criminal organizations organizations.” Obama cited his authority as granted through the Constitution to invoke the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, 50 U.S.C. 1701, and the National Emergencies Act, 50 U.S.C. 1601. The latter is the same legislation that Trump is citing to get funding for the wall to achieve his immigration reform goals. That executive order targeted a number of criminal organizations, including the Mexican Los Zetas cartel, an ally of the MS-13 gang President Trump has regularly called out as a danger to Americans.

In 2011, Obama said that the organizations The Brothers’ Circle (“a criminal group composed of leaders and senior members of several Eurasian criminal groups that are largely based in countries of the former Soviet Union, but also operate in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America”), the Italian crime syndicate known as Camorra, the more recognizable Yakuza, and the aforementioned Los Zetas.

Welcome to 2019, where President Trump is the enemy even though he’s getting things done.

Teachers Shot by Police with Air Pistols During Shooter Drill Speak Out

The Sheriff’s Department stood by their decision, however, essentially saying that the teachers were shot with the air pistols because they didn’t act quickly enough, like a dog being smacked with a newspaper.

The idea that we, as Americans, must participate in “active shooter” drills is spooky enough, but one law enforcement agency is taking things too far…and teachers are speaking out. The horror and confusion of an active shooter situation is unfathomable for many of us.  Suddenly, at work or school or the subway, the deafening report of gunfire would be instantaneously confusing and oppressive.  Our fight or flight instincts would kick in, sending us to the floor with the possibility of altered auditory senses.  From there, the terror truly begins as we play out any number of scenarios in our heads. These instances are terrifying and harrowing in ways that only those who have lived through them can understand. Active shooter drills, on the other hand, are meant to be learning experiences.  Sure, some urgency is needed to provide us the opportunity necessary to develop the muscle memory desired, but do we really have to shoot teachers with pellet guns in order to get the point across? That’s what one group of educators is pondering today. An Indiana teachers union is demanding change to active shooter drill protocols after teachers at an elementary school reported that they had been injured when they were shot by Airsoft guns during a recent exercise. “During active shooter drill, four teachers at a time were taken into a room, told to crouch down and were shot execution style with some sort of projectiles — resulting in injuries to the extent that welts appeared, and blood was drawn,” a statement from the Indiana State Teachers Association on Wednesday said. Association members said they were injured during the drill at Monticello’s Meadowlawn Elementary School, according to the statement. The drill was conducted by the White County Sheriff’s Department, which defended the methods it used. White County Sheriff Bill Brooks said…

American Schools Are Failures: Most Americans Don’t Know What Bill of Rights Is

The poll tends to prove that liberals have succeeded in undermining America though the thorough destruction of the quality of our education.

Bill of rights

A new study of Americans finds that few have any idea what freedoms are protected by the first ten amendments of the Constitution nor do they know these amendments are called the Bill of Rights. It just shows that the liberals controlling our system of miseducation have succeeded in undermining this country and that our schools are some of America’s biggest enemies. Our schools are failures at teaching and turning out Americans, certainly. But they are a great success at turning out morons and sheep, and this poll proves it. The poll posted to StudyFinds.com finds that most Americans have some vague idea that our First Amendment rights are under attack, but when asked to detail just what the First Amendment is, most had no idea how to respond. The new poll found that six in ten Americans thought our freedom of speech was under attack. That is a good thing… though it should be ten in ten. But, still, at least a majority understand that the left is attacking our rights. Unfortunately, the study also found that most couldn’t name what rights the First Amendment covers nor could they even say how many Amendments make up the Bill of Rights, nor even say what that name even meant. “Of the 2,000 adults who took part in the poll, half thought that ‘liberty’ is one of the five freedoms protected by the First Amendment, while nearly half (49 percent) believed ‘the pursuit of happiness’ was included,” the poll said. “Thankfully, only 3 percent named ‘life’ as one of the protected freedoms.” I am not sure why the folks at StudyFinds thought it was “thankfully” that only a small percentage thought “life” was in the First Amendment but be that as it may. The poll also found that only 26 percent…
