Dr. Anthony Fauci, the supposed top expert in the country concerning infectious diseases stated on Thursday that there’s no country on earth hit harder by the coronavirus than the United States.

“America has been the worst-hit country in the world, with 8.1 million cases and over 218,000 deaths,” Fauci said.

As of Thursday, the U.S. has a total of 8.9 million confirmed cases of COVID-19 with over 228, 602 confirmed deaths.

“I feel cautiously optimistic we will have a safe vaccine, even though you can never be certain when it comes to vaccinology,” Fauci added. He also said that 40% of people with the virus are asymptomatic.

On Wednesday, during an interview with National Institutes of Health Director Francis Collins, Fauci suggested that the U.S. will not return to normal until 2022.

“There will be a graded, gradual progression toward normalcy” in 2022, the doctor said.

The truth of the matter is, this country cannot continue to live in a permanent state of lockdown. Society will crumble if folks aren’t able to get back to life as normal. It seems the radical left is all about keeping things locked down and masks on people’s faces, which doesn’t have anything to do with keeping folks from getting sick.

It has everything to do with control. And what better way to strip people of power than to make them scared and willing to trade liberty for a false sense of security? Fear makes it very easy to justify all kinds of intrusions that we’d normally never accept.

People will either respond to all of this by cowering in fear, or we’ll just simply stop listening to these “professionals” and just start living. Time will tell which happens first.
