Early Morning Triggers? Who Needs It?
The other day my significant other, known as a girlfriend, before the wokesters took over, sent me an article. It was about a bill being passed in Florida that, according to Leftists, represents an attempt to alleviate ‘discomfort’ for white people.
In Nearly Every Sentence
I read the article closely, denoting the bias in virtually every other sentence, and was perturbed. We had long ago agreed that we would not send triggering articles to each other, especially in the morning, without some kind of prior notice. I reminded her of our plan to explore issues one by one, together, sitting at the same computer, showing each other our sources, and intelligently discussing matters.
She wrote back to me, “So, are you saying that we cannot simply send information to each other when it becomes available?”
Well of course we can, but merely sending random articles early in the morning, on a variety of topics, each time one of us is triggered by something we encounter, was not my idea of methodically, sequentially approaching each issue and allowing for both sides to present their views.
CRT is Mass Bigotry; Nothing More
As a case in point, I explained, sending me an article with the title “Re: Florida Discomfort Bill,” does nothing to dissuade me that Critical Race Theory:
1) Represents bigotry towards whites in general (i.e. renown bigot Ibram Kendri is making a small fortune with his ‘lectures’ and ‘training sessions.’)
2) Is harmful to children, both black and white, essentially pitting them against each, and will cause decades of damage.
3) Polarizes an issue while leaving out other groups such as Hispanics and Asians, and first generation Africans and West Indians — who do rather well in America.
4) Ignores vast segments of history. For example, 1200+ white abolitionists were lynched for supporting Black rights and freedom issues.
5) Will historically be proven to be racial grift on a mass scale.
Can You Imagine
Suppose a movement was afoot that characterized American black culture as detrimental to society and, indeed, the Earth, and that Black people in general were at the root of all of social problems, not merely in the U.S, but worldwide.
I concluded by sending her an excerpt from a previous article I had written for Politicrossing: “Imagine the unending uproar if someone drew up a list of how hundreds of millions of black people all over the world could become ‘less black.’ The absurdity of regarding white people, hundreds of millions of them, as having a general set of characteristics, let alone having those characteristics be detrimental to society, is the grand facade of the ages.”
