Elon Musk Enters Russia-Ukraine Conflict with Bold Actions
At the very top of the global food chain, above the Nancy Pelosis and Mitch McConnells of the world, and far above Presidents, even, lay the billionaire class. We’re talking about folks like George Soros, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, and Elon Musk.
You see, you can have all the power that you want, but if you aren’t in full control of how the world spends their money, there is a limit to what you can do with it.
And so, in the 21st century, it is going to become increasingly likely that the billionaire class will be fighting in conjunction with whatever other forces are engaged, and Elon Musk is one of the first to step into such a spotlight during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
[Russian space chief] Dimitry Rogozin warned that Russian tech and expertise is needed to prevent the ISS from crashing down onto the US or Europe.
“If you block cooperation with us, who will save the ISS from an uncontrolled deorbit and fall into the United States and Europe?” Rogozin tweeted on Friday, following president Joe Biden’s announcement of sanctions over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
But then…
[…] Musk weighed in by replying to Rogozin’s threat with the SpaceX logo.

He also replied to a tweet that showed the ISS without the Russian segment and a SpaceX Dragon attached instead.
“Good thread,” Musk wrote.
Musk had previously activated the StarLink satellite system over Ukraine in order to provide unmolested internet access to the nation as they fend off Russia’s incursion.
