Ex-White House Spokesman Says Joe Biden Shouldn’t Debate President Trump

Published

on

One of the major benefits of having all of this coronavirus hoopla going on in our nation is that the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee, Joe Biden, has an excuse to avoid public appearances and making a bigger fool of himself than he already has over the last 12 months.

Then again, maybe that’s why the left is fighting so hard to keep mass gatherings limited or completely banned? Perhaps, just maybe, Biden’s campaign doesn’t want the guy to be able to debate Trump publicly for fear of how much of a fool he’ll look like and out of fear that the stupid things he says will be impossible to bounce back from?

If you think that sounds far-fetched, check out what a former press secretary for President Bill “let’s party hardy at Epstein Island” Clinton said about Biden debating the president.

Here’s more from The Daily Wire:

Joe Lockhart penned an op-ed piece for CNN in which he advises the presumptive Democratic presidential candidate to ignore the three debates, which begin Sept. 29.

“Whatever you do, don’t debate Trump,” Lockhart wrote last week. “Trump has made more than 20,000 misleading or false statements according to the Washington Post. It’s a fool’s errand to enter the ring with someone who can’t follow the rules or the truth. Biden will undoubtedly take heat from Republicans and the media for skipping the debates. But it’s worth the risk as trying to debate someone incapable of telling the truth is an impossible contest to win.”

Yeah. Or you could just admit that your candidate has clear mental health issues going on and you’re afraid he’s going to say something incoherent or outrageous that’s going to draw a lot of attention. Just tell the truth, folks.

And Lockhart on Sunday wrote on Twitter: “Debating @realDonaldTrump is like debating the last drunk in a bar at closing time. Anybody ever win one of those debates. We built a wall and Mexico paid for it. We’ve beaten the invisible enemy. Nobody’s been tougher on Russia. Get me one more drink bartender.”

This is really bad advice. If Biden is sound of mind but doesn’t show up to these debates, what that says is the former vice president is scared of Trump. Which he probably is. However, if you want your candidate to win, he has to have an answer for what Trump proposes. Not debating him is admitting he doesn’t have that answer.

Deep down, Biden knows he stands no chance of debating Trump, and he’s using anything in the world to avoid standing on a public stage with him. Whether it’s the use of coronavirus restrictions or the false claim that by avoiding debate he’s taking the moral high ground — ridiculous — the clear truth is that Biden is scared and doesn’t have the mental faculties for a rigorous debate.

Biden Said He Received Full Scholarship, Graduated Top of His Law School Class — He Lied

And he plagiarized, too…

As a career politician, Joe Biden knows a thing or two about lying. Even though he has been caught telling falsehoods many, many times over, the mainstream media and his supporters still decide to look the other way. For example, here’s a quote from Joe, speaking to a reporter, while running for president in 1988: “I think I probably have a much higher IQ than you do, I suspect. I went to law school on a full academic scholarship, the only one in my — in my class to have a full academic scholarship. In the first year in law school I decided didn’t want to be in law school and ended up in the bottom two-thirds of my class, and then decided I wanted to stay, went back to law school, and in fact ended up in the top half of my class. I won the international moot-court competition. I was the outstanding student in the political science department at the end of my year. I graduated with three degrees from undergraduate school and 165 credits — I only needed 123 credits. And I’d be delighted to sit down and compare my IQ to yours if you’d like Frank.” The problem is that literally nothing in that statement is true. None of it. From The Daily Wire: It turned out that Biden did not receive a full academic scholarship, but a half scholarship based on financial need. He did not end up in the top half of his class, but near the very bottom. There is no record of him winning the moot court competition. He did not receive the outstanding student award at the University of Delaware. And he graduated with only one degree. For the record, this is Biden’s third run for POTUS (1988, 2008, 2020). After…

I Will Nominate A Woman for Supreme Court Next Week, Trump Says At North Carolina Rally

This third pick needs to be a person that will have conservatives cheering.

Donald Trump’s presidency has already been historic for a number of reasons. He will add to his legacy in the coming days, when he nominates a third person to the Supreme Court in just his first term. Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh have sided with the liberal wing of SCOTUS from time to time, so those two choices weren’t exactly home runs. Still, they definitely lean right. This third pick needs to be a person that will have conservatives cheering. Notably, Barrett was one of the finalists when Trump was considering a replacement for Justice Anthony Kennedy, whose seat was later filled by Justice Brett Kavanaugh. According to USA Today, Judge Barbara Lagoa, 52, a recent addition to the list of potential Supreme Court nominees, is considered a “little-known” front-runner. The news agency reports that Trump briefly mentioned her during remarks to reporters on Saturday, saying that he has “heard at length” about her, and that she is “highly respected.” Let’s hear your thoughts in the comment section…
