As the January 6th select committee continues to scour the online world of conspiracy theorists for hyperbolic hearsay they can use to undermine Donald Trump’s chances in the 2024 election, a scorned former partner of Alex Jones is now offering up alleged “inside information” for the investigation.

During Tuesday’s public hearing, the committee focused on the world of online political entertainment, presenting a number of clips from Alex Jones’ Infowars platform as supposed evidence, never mind the fact that Jones himself has admitted in court that he’s “playing a character” on the channel, and that he recognizes himself as a “performance artist”.

Now the entertainer’s ex-wife is attempting to insert herself into the fray, alleging that she may have some information that is germane to the probe.

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones’ ex-wife says she has “insider info” that will be welcomed by the House select committee investigating the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

“I’m #AlexJones’ ex-wife, & I lost my kids for exposing infowars, even while he was under subsequent Federal Investigation. I have insider info that I believe is relevant to the #January6thCommitteeHearings. Pls share,” Kelly Jones tweeted more than 40 times on Tuesday, alongside previous tweets she has posted.

Her comments came after the panel, during its seventh televised hearing on Tuesday, showed how a tweet from former President Donald Trump calling his supporters to Washington, D.C., on January 6, 2021, was viewed by some as a “call to arms.”

As of this writing, there is no indication that the committee is taking Kelly Jones seriously, despite the fact that they’ve taken her performance artist husband seriously.
