Fauci Now Believes COVID Injections Could Be Yearly Occurrence

Finally, Americans are beginning to see their nation reopen, as the COVID-19 pandemic fades off into the sunset.  Concerts are being booked, restaurants are opening their doors, and sports arenas finally have a real hum from the crowd.  In many parts of the nation, and for many of us, it truly does feel as if the pandemic is over.

But not so fast, says Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Dr. Anthony Fauci estimated Americans will need a coronavirus booster vaccine shot within a year, he predicted at a media event sponsored by the pharmaceutical industry.

“I think we will almost certainly require a booster sometime within a year or so, after getting the primary [shot], because the durability of protection against coronaviruses is generally not lifelong,” Fauci said about the future of the coronavirus vaccines.

Fauci has been repeatedly chastised for his unrepentant pessimism on the subject of the coronavirus, and his advice that has, at times, run to the contrary of what the CDC or the World Health Organization is expressing.
