After FBI-Facebook Controversy, Trump Demands to be Declared 2020 Winner
As much of the American news cycle remained breathlessly obsessed with the FBI’s unprecedented raid on Mar-a-Lago, former President Donald Trump has called our attention to a recent and shocking revelation regarding Facebook, the FBI, and the 2020 election.
During that fateful contest, which Trump has suggested was “rigged” against him, Facebook had received information from the FBI regarding the Hunter Biden “laptop from Hell” story, in which the agency urged caution to the social media giant over the possibility that the story was being fueled by “Russian disinformation” – a favorite boogeyman of the liberal left.
After Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed this information on Joe Rogan’s podcast just days ago, Donald Trump has issued a blistering statement in which he declares this censorship as election interference, and then demands to either be declared the rightful winner of the election, or for there to be a re-do.
President Donald Trump argued Monday that he should be declared the winner of the 2020 election, citing fraud and election interference by the FBI.
The former president pointed to reports that the FBI worked to bury the story about Hunter Biden’s laptop on social media right before the 2020 election.
“This is massive FRAUD & ELECTION INTERFERENCE at a level never seen before in our Country,” Trump wrote on social media.
Trump said the FBI purposefully tried to stop him from winning the 2020 election.
The former President then issued an ultimatum.
“REMEDY: Declare the rightful winner or, and this would be the minimal solution, declare the 2020 Election irreparably compromised and have a new Election, immediately!” Trump wrote.
Zuckerberg’s admission about throttling distribution of the Hunter Biden laptop story made waves last week, and ignited concerns about collusion between the social media platform and federal agencies.
