Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s “Green New Deal,” if somehow passed by Congress, was thought to have cost U.S. taxpayers tens of trillions of dollars.

A new report suggests the real number could nearly hit $100 trillion.

That would come to, roughly, $650,000 per American household.

Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) “Green New Deal” — a massive government takeover of large portions of the U.S. economy — is projected to cost up to $93 trillion.

Bloomberg reports that Ocasio-Cortez’s far-left plan would “tally between $51 trillion and $93 trillion over 10-years, concludes American Action Forum, which is run by Douglas Holtz-Eakin, who directed the non-partisan CBO from 2003 to 2005.”

The enormous price tag, which amounts to over $650,000 per U.S. household, covers a low-carbon electricity grid, net zero emissions transportation system, guaranteed jobs, universal health care, guaranteed green housing, and food security.

Ocasio-Cortez is “the boss.” Everybody good with that?

Her reasoning is that she’s trying to do something about “climate change” by introducing her “Green New Deal,” while her critics aren’t doing anything.

Has AOC considered that the opposition isn’t doing anything because there’s nothing to do?

Check this out…

AOC: “I’m at least trying and they’re not. If you’re trying, you’ve got all the power, you’re driving the agenda, you’re doing all this stuff.

Like, I just introduced Green New Deal two weeks ago and it’s creating all of this conversation. Why? Because no one else is even trying — because no one else has even tried!

I’m like you try! You do it! Cuz you’re not!

So until you do it, I’M THE BOSS! How about that?

WATCH her “ego trip” unfold:

Ocasio-Cortez has become known for her ramblings on Instagram Live.

Given that she’s a Millennial, it’s a smart way for her to connect with fans.

During a recent feed, AOC went off on everything from President Trump and the border wall to white supremacy and the failed Amazon headquarters deal.

Check out some of her rantings…

Ocasio-Cortez made the comments during a 9 a.m. Instagram Live feed in her leisure attire as she sipped coffee in her sparsely decorated D.C. apartment, which she described as her “monastery with no furniture.” The broadcast is the latest in a string of similar online videos that have helped to cement Ocasio-Cortez’s status as the Democrat Party’s leading socialist darling by blending her candid thoughts on politics with her transition to Congress.

I think everybody should have the insurance I have and that’s just the way it should be.

I think [the wall is] a moral abomination. I think it’s like the Berlin wall. 70 percent of the American people think this is the dumbest idea ever.

It’s not my problem the majority of the American people think it’s a scam, a sham, a monument to white supremacy. It’s not my fault.

For those of you who don’t know about the actual deal, you should know that New York City was getting totally screwed with this Amazon deal. We were, like, on paper giving helipads. We were, like, renaming creeks. We were providing, like, hard tangible tax breaks for very little on the paper in return. The process was designed to skip every community process.

“I’m not going to just knock on the door of your house and say this is mine now,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

If I just walk up to you on the street and say, ‘hey, if you give me twenty bucks, I promise I’m gonna come back – I’m gonna leave but I gonna promise I’m gonna come back and give you a really nice coat. But I need to leave, I need to take your twenty bucks first, it’s not going to happen at once.’ You’d be like, ‘you’re crazy, no, get out of my face.’

Mayor Gets Pulverized After Posting Ridiculously Thoughtless Tweet In Wake Of Portland Violence

Oh look. Nero playing the fiddle why Rome burns.

Just hours after violent rioting exploded in the city of Portland, Oregon, Mayor Ted Wheeler posted the most oblivious photograph ever to the Internet, featuring him and his wife, peacefully strolling through the city hand-in-hand as if nothing is going down in his burned out burg. This has led to massive pushback from folks all across the political spectrum, with many calling for Wheeler to step down from office. Honestly, that might not be a bad idea, seeing as how he’s done nothing to put radical left-wing group Antifa in check. via Daily Wire: https://twitter.com/tedwheeler/status/1163209418487394305 “Saturdays in Portland,” however, are a lot different. The day before Mayor Ted Wheeler’s post, Antifa activists targeted journalists and went after protesters, some of whom were members of the right-wing Proud Boys. Below is some of the ugly footage posted by journalist and Quilette editor Andy Ngo and others which has been conveniently ignored by Mr. Wheeler: https://twitter.com/MrAndyNgo/status/1162833952190582785 https://twitter.com/MrAndyNgo/status/1162901699318517761 https://twitter.com/MrAndyNgo/status/1162828409367515139 https://twitter.com/MrAndyNgo/status/1162844384141832192 The tweet from Mayor Wheeler, unsurprisingly, was ripped online for its oblivious nature. Twitter users, some claiming to live in Portland, pointed to the violent protesting in the city and Portland’s severe homelessness crisis. According to Portland Monthly, 2018 figures estimated 14,476 homeless people reside in the city. https://twitter.com/JNCassavetes/status/1163279121847222272 https://twitter.com/jtLOL/status/1163428604581220354 https://twitter.com/RedTails944/status/1163305483018465281 https://twitter.com/NeilAxelrod/status/1163309474125361152 https://twitter.com/belleofva/status/1163227272930873345 Seems Mayor Wheeler is just a tad bit out of touch with what’s happening in his city. Homelessness, massive violence and rioting, civil unrest. Hardly seems like an ideal time to post a picture of a peaceful stroll through the city. It’s like Nero watching Rome burn and playing the fiddle. The city could definitely use new leadership, perhaps someone with a more sensible approach to dealing with this sort of thing?

Ted Cruz Goes Completely Savage On NYT After Paper Commits To Covering Trump As ‘Racist’

Cruz throwin’ bows!

Published

Last week a transcript leaked of a speech by New York Times executive editor Dean Baquet as published by Slate, and part of that transcript featured Baquet admitting that since the Russia collusion stuff fell apart, they’re planning on publishing stories that claim President Trump is a racist for the rest of his presidency. This did not at all sit well with Sen. Ted Cruz who went total savage on the publication and shredded them to tiny bits over their obvious journalistic bias and abandonment of principles of integrity in their reporting. via Daily Wire: “There was a time when journalists covered ‘news.’ The NYT has given up on even pretending anymore. Today, they are Pravda, a propaganda outlet by liberals, for liberals. These remarks at their ‘town hall’ are a scandal & would be a firing offense at any real journalistic outlet,” Cruz tweeted in reference to Baquet’s remarks. https://twitter.com/tedcruz/status/1163134559862611969 Cruz then paraphrased Baquet’s remarks: “The Editor says (in effect) ‘for 2 yrs, we covered ‘Russia, Russia, Russia,’ facts be damned; now we’ll scream ‘racism, racism, racism’ for 18 mos, and the rest of the media follow us.’ That’s not journalism.” CNBC reporter John Harwood criticized Cruz’s tweet by claiming “that’s not what the editor said.” In reality, Cruz’s paraphrase is close to what Baquet said. The Times editor said that they covered the alleged Russia collusion story the way they did because they thought it looked “a certain way.” From the transcript: Chapter 1 of the story of Donald Trump, not only for our newsroom but, frankly, for our readers, was: Did Donald Trump have untoward relationships with the Russians, and was there obstruction of justice? That was a really hard story, by the way, let’s not forget that. We set ourselves up to cover that story. I’m…
