Flashback: Dem Rep. Sends Staff to Mexico to Teach Migrants How to Beat Asylum System

Maybe she thought she wouldn’t get caught?

Is this the bombshell to end all bombshells? Well, it could involve a sitting Democrat Congresswoman being in A LOT of trouble with the law – so yeah, it’s pretty big.

If you’ve never heard of Veronica Escobar, you have now. And maybe soon, if the mainstream media cares to report on this story, she’ll become a household name – for better or worse.

But obviously, worse.

Democrat Rep. Veronica Escobar (TX) is secretly sending staff to Mexico to find and coach migrants who are trying to enter the United States and is instructing them how to “exploit a loophole” to game the asylum process, multiple U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials allege.

The Washington Examiner reports that, according to the National Border Patrol Council’s El Paso chapter and several CBP agents, Escobar’s staff is trying to find migrants that have been returned from El Paso, Texas to Mexico “under the ‘remain in Mexico’ policy, then coaching them to pretend they cannot speak Spanish to exploit a loophole letting them return to the U.S.”

[…]

Mark H. Metcalf, a former federal immigration judge, told the Examiner that a criminal case could be brought against Escobar if she is found to be involved in the alleged scheme, which amounts to fraud and making false statements to U.S. officials.

President Trump threatened Mexico with costly tariffs and they responded immediately.

Mexico backed down and will now do what they can to curb the flow of illegal immigration into the United States.

This was a monster victory for POTUS.

However, Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters (CA) thinks Trump was the one who caved, not Mexico, due to pressure from “spineless” Congressional Republicans.

Spineless GOP Senators grew a backbone this week & finally stood up to their Dictator Trump on something: Mexico tariffs, also known as a TAX INCREASE on American consumers. Bet your bottom dollar, Trump will back off by the weekend. Just another bluff!

If Trump’s tariffs ever became real, it would hurt millennials who are already working hard for higher pay to purchase cars, groceries, invest in their own business, or pay down student loans. Most people aren’t born w/ a silver spoon & a million dollar loan from dad. Back off 45

This guy shares Maxine’s point of view…

FACT: The joint US-Mexico declaration, which is less than 500 words long, requires Mexico to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING it isn’t already doing.

It is not a “deal.”

It is a fig leaf to cover up Trump’s humiliating diplomatic defeat

What is particularly infuriating is how much “objective” media coverage repeats the Trump narrative without pointing out the basic fact that Mexico didn’t agree to do anything new.

It’s absolutely ridiculous.

CNN happens to disagree with Maxine, if you can believe it.

Airline Kicks Family Off Flight After Toddler Removes Mask During Asthma Attack

Unbelievable.

At times, it is easy to see why some of us are losing faith in humanity as a whole.

Somewhere in the mix, we’ve all turned cold and calculated.  Mathematically prepared for litigation at all times.  We’re robotic in our understanding of the rules and consequences, but all the while shunning common sense and the idea that decency often depends on extenuating circumstances.

Such was the case this week on an American Airlines flight.

A mother and her 2-year-old son were forced to deplane an American Airlines flight on Monday after the child would not keep a mask on.

Amanda Pendarvis posted to her Instagram story that she, her young son and her mother were removed from the flight. Pendarvis said her son was having an asthma attack at the time.

Flight 1284 returned to its gate at the Dallas-Fort Worth airport before departing for Colorado after the party refused to “comply with crew member instructions to remain seated while on an active taxiway and to wear face coverings securely over their nose and mouth,” American Airlines said in a statement to FOX Business.

The company attempted to shift the blame in a statement.

The airline said crew members were never made aware that the child was having an asthma attack or issues breathing. Additionally, the passengers were not addressed for failure to comply with face-covering requirements at any point while administering treatment, according to the carrier.

The move comes amid a heated national debate on COVID-19 precautions, and among a populace who is growing ever more irate with the idea of remaining masked indefinitely.

The nation has been gripped by a strange and potentially tragic story about a couple, their cross-country road trip, and now a mission young woman.

Gabby Petito was traveling from coast to coast across America, chronicling her “vanning” lifestyle on social media, all with her partner Brian Laundrie.  At some point during the trip, Gabby stopped posting and Brian came back home.

And that’s all we really know.  Brian, on the advice of his lawyers, is not cooperating with police or Gibby’s family.

Now, her parents are publicly pleading with Brian for help in bringing their daughter home.

Gabby Petito’s stepfather, Jim Schmidt, called out his stepdaughter’s fiancé for not cooperating with authorities or assisting the investigation.

“You say she’s the love of your life. She’s missing. You were on a trip with her, but you have no comment. You have nothing to say and you’re hiding behind an attorney,” he told Fox News on Thursday.

“I understand the constitutional rights that people have, but you have pieces to this puzzle that we need to find Gabby and you’re withholding them from us.”

Police have revealed that the two were in contact with police during their trip, after a domestic argument resulted in a call to local law enforcement.

The silence of Laundrie has been a sharply criticized decision, and many around the country find the choice to be a vile one.
