Flashback: Obama Admin Spent $310M Taxpayer Dollars on Lawyers for the Undocumented
Homeless Americans and people in poverty always take a back seat to illegal aliens in liberal circles. Taking care of their own should be priority number one, but that is certainly not the case.
It is now being reported that over $300 million taxpayer dollars went to attorneys defending illegal aliens during Barack Obama’s eight years in office.
Oh, and George Soros’s “Open Society” is part of it.
The Obama administration spent more than $310 million in tax money to provide attorneys for unaccompanied illegal immigrant children, and all of it went to a single nonprofit with direct ties to Open Society Foundations.
The Immigration Reform Law Institute reports the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services under Obama violated the Immigration and Nationality Act by awarding numerous contracts to the Vera Institute of Justice between 2015 and 2016 to provide “direct legal representation” for illegal immigrants.
Border patrol agents were forced to use tear gas to fight back against the migrant caravan attempting to illegally enter the United States.
The agents were pelted with rocks.
As expected, the mainstream media lost its collective mind.

The truth is the Obama administration used tear gas far more often.

According to DHS data obtained by Fox News, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency has used 2-chlorobenzylidene malononitrile, commonly known as tear gas, 126 times since 2010.
During the Obama administration, tear gas was used on the border 26 times in 2012, 27 times in 2013, 15 times in 2014, eight times in 2015, and three times in 2016. That compares to 18 times in 2017 and 29 times in 2018 during the Trump administration.
Chief Border Patrol Agent Rodney Scott appeared on CNN. He dropped some truth bombs about the illegal migrant caravan that is attempting to make its way into America.
For example, did the left know that grown men were pushing women and children to the front and then throwing rocks at patrol agents?
How about that the migrants tore down a section of the border wall?
Scott said, “What we saw over and over yesterday is that the group, the caravan as we call them, would push women and children to the front and then begin basically rocking our agents.“
He added, “That is correct. 42 crossed the border and were arrested. There were numerous people that actually made it across the border. We are in the process of building a new border wall. There were sections that were dilapidated sections made out of scrap metal that the military had gave us. The group breached a section of this. The group breached a couple sections of this. They actually tore down one section. They rushed across and that’s another time that they actually started assaulting our agents.”
