Flashback: Ocasio-Cortez Tries to Shame GOP Lawmaker, But Turns Out He's A Democrat

Oh man, LOL. OH, BOY!! Freshman Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez…(pause to take a breath from laughing)…thought she was attacking the GOP. Instead, she proved how ignorant she truly is by not knowing that Rep. John Yarmouth is a Democrat.

If this isn’t an instant classic than nothing is! What it does, beyond any reasonable doubt, is show that Ocasio-Cortez is 100% clueless. Like Nancy Pelosi, AOC has a difficult time identifying members of her own party.

It also shows that liberals are willing to attack any person at anytime for any reason. And yet, they still want to be considered the party of tolerance. Sheesh.

From Daily Wire:

Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) tried to suggest a “GOP” lawmaker was being creepy for taking a picture next to a poster cutout of her and ended up being widely mocked for not realizing that the lawmaker was actually a Democrat.

The Kentucky Republican Party posted a picture of Rep. John Yarmuth (D-KY) next to a cutout poster of Ocasio-Cortez in a tweet, writing: “#ThrowbackThursday last month the socialists threatened the lone #Kentucky #Democrat in Congress if he didn’t bend to their radical, extremist will: looks like @AOC and #socialism are calling the shots for @KyDems now!”

AOC’s response:

Right before the screw up, AOC was doing what she does best: blasting Republicans on Twitter.

Instead of asking, “Should the Boston Bomber have the right to vote?”

Try, “Should a nonviolent person stopped w/ a dime bag LOSE the right to vote?”

Bc that question reflects WAY more people.

Reminder:
– Slavery ➡️ Jim Crow + Redlining ➡️ War on Drugs ➡️ Mass Incarceration

– Black Americans & PoC are far more likely to be convicted + sentenced longer than White Americans for similar crimes.

– Our system routinely criminalizes poverty + exonerates wealth

Many rebut the voting question by saying, “Well, *those* people shouldn’t be jailed.”

Glad you feel that way! But the truth is, the US incarcerates more people per capita than anywhere in the world – even more than China.

Our system is built to disenfranchise people of color ⬇️

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Ocasio-Cortez appeared on the Yahoo News podcast “Skullduggery” this past weekend.

Hosts Daniel Klaidman and Michael Isikoff asked AOC to name three reasons why she wants to impeach President Trump.

That’s when the train came off the tracks.

See for yourself as Alexandria turns into a bumbling mess:

ISIKOFF: What would be your top three if you were drafting the articles of impeachment?

OCASIO-CORTEZ: The top three? I think number one is emoluments. I think it’s always been emoluments. It’s always been about that for me.

ISIKOFF: Two and three?

OCASIO-CORTEZ: Two and three. I think two would be tax fraud. And number three, um. Man, number three.

ISIKOFF: Interesting that you don’t mention Russia.

OCASIO-CORTEZ: No, I don’t. Because I think that for a lot of aspects of the Russia investigation, as we saw with the Mueller report, I think there are a lot of parts of the Russia issue that some down to emoluments. Pay-for-play, financial transactions, Trump Tower. It comes down to money. And if we had gotten something from the Mueller report I would probably put that up there as number one, but I feel like it is a little risky to put all your eggs in that basket. And I think a lot of this stuff happens through backdoor bank accounts and stuff like that. So emoluments kind of includes any financial misconduct in relation to Russia.

KLAIDMAN: Specifically on tax fraud, what do you have in mind? Is there something specific, like deflating assets, or the insurance issue. Those issues you brought up when you were questioning Michael Cohen?

OCASIO-CORTEZ: Yeah, I agree, I think it comes to that. There is just so much, like the census, you know, I can’t even, the tax bill, like, what can, there is just so much!
