Fox News Hosts Uncover AOC’s True Communist Ways, & It’s Worse Than We Knew
It all began with three tweets from freshman Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY).
She made it clear that she’s paying everyone on her staff at least $52,000 per year.
See ’em:
Leadership starts with our choices.
That’s why I decided that no one on my staff will make less than $52k/year.
It’s likely one of the highest entry-level salaries on the Hill. We pinch pennies elsewhere, but it’s worth every dime to pay a living wage.

A lot of people commenting don’t know how Congressional salaries work.
Each member is given a set amount that they disburse. GOP has refused to increase budgets in years to give hard-working staff a raise, which means people helping to run the country are getting paid $30k/year.

It’s pretty sad that people think low Congressional staff pay is a good thing.
Low pay a big reason why money in politics is a problem – you can make a lot more money becoming a lobbyist & setting up a relationship w/ one, since the actual job doesn’t pay enough.
Domino effect.

Fox News saw AOC’s words. Instantly, they recognized the major problem that seems to elude the self-described Democrat Socialist.
The gist?
Alexandria is putting her “socialism and communism on display.”
From Federalist Papers:
But as “Fox & Friends” reported, what she is actually doing is employing a version of socialism and communism with her own staff.
[…]
“Here’s the problem. You have got to find a way to get money to pay the entry-level people so she plans to take that from the chief of staff. Senior staffers who would normally make $154,000 for chief of staff are probably only going to make about $80,000,” he said.
“Every Capitol Hill office has a limited amount of money to pay their staff. Tough decide how to allocate it earn in my office pay a living wage,” host Pete Hegseth said.
“I want to pay $15 an hour. Entry level intern is making 52 grand. Your chief of staff who has a very important role in a congressional office now is capped at 80 as opposed to the actual markets rate on Capitol Hill which is closer to 150,000. Everyone is between 52 and 80. Actually socialism and communism on display,” he said.
Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) sent a wild tweet accusing Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s chief of staff of being responsible for the uptick in people criticizing her, but was then quick to jump ship.
Check it out…
In her now deleted tweet, @AOC claimed that people who criticize her on twitter are actually robots run by Cocaine Mitch.
How did she figure this out? Who told her?

Is this why AOC sent the tweet to begin with?
Who’s behind the dark money group bashing @AOC in Times Square? Notorious astroturf firm Berman & Co got $2.5M from the org in 2017. Cavalry LLC, founded by Mitch McConnell’s former chief of staff, was paid $419K

There are just two teensy problems here: Cavalry isn’t Berman, and “bots” is a pretty big leap from a catchall term like “astroturf.”

Alexandria sent a follow-up tweet:
Heads up – I’m deleting a tweet about astroturfing bc I want to make sure details are solid.
Dark $ is hard to track, & the practice of astroturfing to manipulate public opinion is notorious. Want to make sure any comments about it are thorough. Quote tweet will be RT’d ✌????

Reaction:
Every journalist in America should ask @AOC what she’s talking about here. This was a voter registration project. She’s easily the most reckless politician in America. https://t.co/8iETM2787k

Last month, AOC suggested it is better to be morally right than factually correct
Last night, she was neither. https://t.co/2mH3JZ9XmR

Another facepalm-inducing moment from the young lawmaker?
You be the judge!
