French President Insults Protesters, Lies About Their Motives

The Yellow Vest protests that have been occurring weekly throughout France over the course of several months have been nearly blacked out in the Mainstream Media.

Sure, we are seeing plenty of footage of the protesters clashing with oppressively-armored police amid smoke bombs and car fires, but the media certainly isn’t telling the whole story.  This has angered a great many of the Yellow Vest members.

Here, one protester explains what they are really fighting for:

The story in the mainstream media, however, is simply revolving around a single fuel tax.  This is, instead, an uprising against the French economic situation and the dastardly deeds of high level, elite bankers.

Of course, the media wishes not to cover this angle, as bankers spend quite a bit of money in advertising.  If CNN were to properly cover these protests and their impetus, it could affect their bottom line when a company such as Wells Fargo pulls all of their advertising from the already doomed station.

That was merely a hypothetical, but it does well to illustrate the inherent issue with relying on the mainstream media for information.

In fact, one could argue that the mainstream media is a weapon of the ruling class, used to disseminate their specific ideas to the masses.

Take, for example, what French President Emmanuel Macron is saying about these protesters, such as the eloquent man you watched above.

French President Emmanuel Macron kept a low profile since he eliminated a carbon tax following a populist uprising against the measure, but he came out swinging Monday night, equating elements within the movement to an anti-Semitic mob sowing discord.

Some believe the so-called Yellow Vest protesters “take as a pretext that they are speaking in the name of the people” when “in fact they are merely speaking for a hateful mob” that targets “police, journalists, Jews, foreigners, homosexuals,” Macron stated. The 41-year-old president has struggled to quell the protests while reports suggest he’s been hiding out.

Given what we know about the media’s inner workings, it’s no surprise that Macron is going nuclear in order to quell these protests; if he fails, the metaphorical guillotine awaits him.
