As the world slides ever further away from the death of Jeffrey Epstein, the avenues of justice for his victims continues to narrow.

Epstein was found dead of an apparent suicide while being held at one of Manhattan’s most secure detentions centers on charges stemming from his operation of a child sex-trafficking ring.  Epstein counted a great many wealthy elites among his close friends, with heads of state and billionaire CEO’s aplenty.

With Jeffrey Epstein out of the picture, only his right-hand woman Ghislaine Maxwell remains as a litigious target for the women exploited by him.  Now, as her own sentencing approaches, an eerie bit of confluence has arrived.

Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted former longtime associate of child sex predator Jeffrey Epstein, has been placed on suicide watch ahead of her sentencing this week, but she is not suicidal, her lawyer said in court papers filed Saturday.

Her lawyer was furious.

The 60-year-old former British socialite was “abruptly” placed on suicide watch Friday at a New York City detention center without a “psychological evaluation and without justification,” her lawyer, Bobbi Sternheim, wrote to a federal court in New York on Saturday.

“She is not suicidal,” he said, while stating that he personally met with her at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn earlier that morning.

Epstein had been placed on suicide watch in the days leading up to his own death, which will surely raise eyebrows within the conspiracy theory community.
