Google Documents Show Employee Plan to Censor Conservative Media

It seems as though, in the case of Google’s mass censorship, it was less of theory and more of a conspiracy.

In the wake of the 2016 election, the liberal left was left tattered and frayed; betrayed by their own party in the abysmal nomination of Hillary Clinton to the candidacy.

Clinton, as possibly one of the most flawed candidates of modern US history, was rejected by the American people likely due to her long and illustrious career as a political criminal who had gone without rebuke.  That projected sense of entitlement, not only for the presidency but for her escaping imprisonment as well, was a major slap in the face to ordinary Americans everywhere.

After the doomed democrat eventually conceded the election, the “resistance” was born.

This loony group of liberal extremists have long believed it their destiny to oppose every single action taken by President Donald Trump, no matter what those actions are.

Now, in a terrifying development, leaked documents from within Google show that they themselves may have hatched an incendiary “resistance” scheme as well.

It’s no secret that Big Tech swings to the Left and that many in the industry were devastated that Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 election. But at Google, some engineers debated whether the company should suppress conservative news websites — The Daily Caller and Breitbart were specifically mentioned — to keep President Donald Trump from winning in 2020, according to internal documentsobtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF).

“This was an election of false equivalencies, and Google, sadly, had a hand in it,” engineer Scott Byer wrote on Nov. 9, 2016, according to the documents.

“How many times did you see the Election now card with items from opinion blogs (Breitbart, Daily Caller) elevated next to legitimate news organizations? That’s something that can and should be fixed,” he also wrote.

Further, Byer suggested Google had “a responsibility to expose the quality and truthfulness of sources – because not doing so hides real information under loud noises,” and suggested “teaching critical thinking” before writing that the company makes sure “we reverse things in four years – demographics will be on our side.”

Byer couldn’t convince everyone, however.

Other employees were not so keen to censor, believing the move could backfire and lead to “conspiracy theories,” according to the documents.

“Thinking that Breitbart, Drudge, etc. are not ‘legitimate news sources’ is contrary to the beliefs of a major portion of our user base is partially what got us to this mess. MSNBC is not more legit than Drudge just because Rachel Maddow may be more educated / less deplorable / closer to our views, than, say Sean Hannity,” Google engineer Uri Dekel, a Clinton supporter, wrote in response to Byer.

“I follow a lot of right wing folks on social networks you could tell something was brewing. We laughed off Drudge’s Instant Polls and all that stuff, but in the end, people go to those sources because they believe that the media doesn’t do it’s [sic] job. I’m a Hillary supporter and let’s admit it, the media avoided dealing with the hard questions and issues, which didn’t pay off. By ranking ‘legitimacy’ you’ll just introduce more conspiracy theories,” he added.

It seems as though, in the case of Google’s mass censorship, it was less of theory and more of a conspiracy.

VIDEO: Conservatives Form Their Own ‘Squad’ To Do Battle Against Socialism; ‘This Is Not Your Grandfather’s GOP Anymore’

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard all about a group of four freshmen Democratic Party women who have banded together in Congress to fight for socialistic policies. This group of individuals has been labeled the “Squad” and features Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib. Well, four female conservative congressional candidates are forming their own version of the “Squad” to help fight against the socialism these other ladies are doing their best to push on the American people. Here’s more on this from Fox News: In a previous interview on “Fox & Friends,” Alabama congressional candidate Jessica Taylor called for a new generation of conservatives to counteract the ideology of Democratic socialists like Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar. Then, in a campaign video for her candidacy, Taylor said that she was “sick of arrogant socialists like AOC (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez), who’ve never even run a lemonade stand, trying to tell us how to live in Alabama and that more government is the answer.” On Thursday, Taylor joined “Fox & Friends” once again with a newly formed “conservative squad,” made up of Minnesota congressional candidate Michelle Fischbach, South Carolina congressional candidate Nancy Mace, and Texas congressional candidate Beth Van Duyne. “This is about bringing the conservative message to the people of the United States,” said Fischbach. “So that people understand that we’re looking at do-nothing Democrats. They are obsessing about impeachment and not really doing anything for the people of the United States anymore.” Mace went on to say that their initiative is all about the American dream. “The Democrats, they have taken a sharp left turn under the influence of the socialist squad. And, you look at us and this is socialism versus the American values of freedom and job creation. And, we all understand…

Nonpartisan Analysis Weighs In On Elizabeth Warren’s Wealth Tax Math, Says It Doesn’t Add Up

Published

on

An academic, nonpartisan study has concluded that the math behind Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s wealth tax and found that something’s a bit off about the numbers. According to the new findings, the “wealth tax” on America’s wealthiest folks will actually bring in $1 trillion less than what Warren estimates. Warren says the wealth tax would be a big help in funding her massive progressive policies such as the universal child care, free tuition at public universities, and the big one, “Medicare-for-all” and other programs. The plan would put a two percent tax on individuals worth $50 million or more and a six percent tax on those worth more than $1 billion. Here’s more from Fox News: A University of Pennsylvania Penn Wharton Budget Model – which offers nonpartisan analysis of public policy proposals – estimates, though, that Warren’s tax would raise between $2.3 trillion to $2.7 trillion over a decade. That’s as much as $1.4 trillion less than the Warren campaign’s estimates. The analysis was released on Thursday. It also concludes that the new taxes would cause the economy to contract between 0.9 percent and 2.1 percent by 2050 — depending on how the new revenue is spent. The model says the new tax would reduce “private capital formation” enough to drive the U.S. economy’s average wage down between 0.9 percent and 2.3 percent, even affecting households not rich enough to qualify for the tax. Warren’s campaign disputed the findings. “This analysis does not study Elizabeth’s actual plans — it does not account for the strong anti-evasion measures in her wealth tax and does not even attempt to analyze the specific investments Elizabeth is committed to making with the wealth tax revenue,” Warren campaign spokesperson Saloni Sharma said in a statement to Fox News. “This is an analysis…
