GOP Has Lost 329 State Seats Under Trump, Dems Lost 768 Under Obama At Same Point

Funny how nobody mentions this…

At the same point in their first terms of office, President Trump’s approval rating is higher than Barack Obama’s. It might be by only a percentage or two, but it’s something. It’s something the left doesn’t care to admit.

But wait, there’s more. After nearly three years of Obama in office, Democrats lost 768 seats in state legislatures. Republicans didn’t lose nearly that many during Trump’s first three years. Check this out, via Daily Wire:

The party that doesn’t control the White House usually makes gains during a president’s tenure. Control of congress usually flips after the first midterm elections (the biggest example to the contrary being the midterm elections following 9/11, when Republicans picked up more seats).

The media, naturally, has been trying to insist that the damage done to Republicans in state legislatures under President Donald Trump is historic or somehow worse than what happened under President Barack Obama.

To put the political consequences of the Trump presidency into perspective, since Trump was elected, Rs have lost 329 seats in state legislatures. At the same point in the Obama presidency, Ds lost 768 seats. MSM is exaggerating election 2019. A little perspective is needed.

Obama and Bernie Sanders said some stuff about Baltimore on par with Trump’s words and nobody batted an eye.

Trump’s tweets:

Rep, Elijah Cummings has been a brutal bully, shouting and screaming at the great men & women of Border Patrol about conditions at the Southern Border, when actually his Baltimore district is FAR WORSE and more dangerous. His district is considered the Worst in the USA……

….As proven last week during a Congressional tour, the Border is clean, efficient & well run, just very crowded. Cumming District is a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess. If he spent more time in Baltimore, maybe he could help clean up this very dangerous & filthy place

From Daily Caller:

Democratic Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings responded early Saturday to President Donald Trump’s tweets calling his district a “disgusting, rat and rodent-infested mess.”

Trump began the morning by criticizing Cummings for attacking the administration’s border policies, suggesting that the congressman should get his own house in order before he started in on the president.

Cummings’ response:

Here’s what Bernie said in 2016:

Residents of Baltimore’s poorest boroughs have lifespans shorter than people living under dictatorship in North Korea. That is a disgrace.

Biden Says Politics Is Going ‘To Come Back And Whack’ President Trump

Published

on

Former Vice President Joe Biden recently decided to take a swipe at President Donald Trump, claiming that politics would “whack” the commander-in-chief, leading many to wonder what exactly is meant by that particular comment. Biden, 76, made the comment during a town hall special broadcast on CNN, in which he attempted to explain how modern day politics had gotten so out of control under Sen. Mitch McConnell and Trump. Here’s more from The Washington Examiner: “Politics today has gotten so mean and ugly and dirty and everybody questioning motive and not focusing at all on trying to put things together instead of disagreeing on substance, you go to motive,” said Biden. “It has become so, so difficult for Republicans to be able to, unless they have real courage, to stand up and take on the president even if they think he should be taken on.” He went on to tie in McConnell and referenced his decision to block a vote to confirm Judge Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court. Biden claimed he suggested Garland to President Barack Obama because he thought Republicans would vote to confirm him. “They know what they were doing was wrong,” Biden said. He added, “The politics has gotten just so out of whack, but it’s going to come back and whack — heh — this guy.” https://youtu.be/vwzsbIrVn88 Some individuals were upset by the comment, claiming it was a joke about “whacking” — killing — the president. Others mocked Biden for the lame comment. https://twitter.com/SteveGuest/status/1194080088582754304 https://twitter.com/tomselliott/status/1194084597270749184 Biden is the current frontrunner in the Democratic Party presidential primary, though it’s been a fight and struggle for him to maintain that top spot in a crowded field that includes Sen. Elizabeth Warren and many others.

YouTube Censors Mentions Of ‘Whistleblower’ Involved In Trump-Ukraine Scandal

Published

on

Social media companies are starting to crack down on any mentions of the “whistleblower” whose complaint about President Trump’s phone conversation with Ukrainian leadership is responsible for the current impeachment inquiry, according to a brand new report. While the alleged name of the whistleblower has been making the rounds online in alternative media websites, social media giants like Facebook and YouTube are calling the publishing of the individual’s name a violation of their “coordinating harm policy.” Here’s more from Fox News: On Saturday, Twitter was the only major social network to resist the change, with users still free to publish the name of the alleged whistleblower. Tweets from big-name conservative Twitter users like Candace Owens and Donald Trump, Jr. revealing the name have gone viral in recent days. “Per our private information policy, any tweets that include personally identifiable information about any individual, including the alleged whistleblower, would be in violation of the Twitter Rules,” The Post reported.
