How could Dems say no to this?

Texas Senator Ted Cruz, who was recently elected to his second term in office after defeating Rep. Beto O’Rourke, knows exactly how to pay for the border wall Democrats so desperately despise.

It won’t even cost the American people a single cent.

The bill is called Ensuring Lawful Collection of Hidden Assets to Provide Order Act, or EL CHAPO Act.

How could Democrats say no to this?

From Daily Caller:

In an exclusive interview with The Daily Caller, Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz explained how he intends to get notorious drug lord and gangster ‘El Chapo’ to pay for the southern border wall with Mexico.

[…]

The bill would designate any money and assets seized from notorious gangster Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán and allocate them for the construction of the border wall. El Chapo was extradited to the U.S. in 2017 to face charges related to running one of the most notorious drug cartels in the world.

El Chapo was worth $14 billion at the time of his arrest.

President Trump is only asking for $5 billion.

Before election day, November 6, Robert “Beto” O’Rourke had ruled out a run for president in 2020.

Now, it would appear as if he’ll probably give it a go.

From The Hill:

Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas) said Monday that he would not rule out a run for president in 2020, backtracking on recent statements that he would not seek the White House.

Beto: “Amy and I made a decision not to rule anything out.

Umm…lie much?

Beto has been caught lying about his mother being a “lifelong Republican” and saying he did not flee the scene of a hit and run accident (he actually did).

An undercover video reveals Beto’s team is using campaign funds to aid the migrant caravan making its way through Mexico to the United States.

From Project Veritas Action:

Project Veritas Action Fund has released undercover video from current Congressman and US Senate candidate Beto O’Rourke’s campaign. The video exposes how his campaign staff appear to be illegally using campaign resources to buy supplies and help transport Honduran aliens. This is the eighth undercover video report Project Veritas has released in a series revealing secrets and lies from political campaigns in 2018.

O’Keefe noted: “Charity and helping your fellow man are things we applaud at Project Veritas Action. The problem is, you can’t break the law when you do it.

Featured in this report are campaign staffers who work on Congressman O’Rourke’s US Senate campaign discussing how they use campaign resources to help Honduran aliens and transport them to airports and bus stations. Said Dominic Chacon and AnaPaula Themann, who work on O’Rourke’s campaign:

Chacon: “The Hondurans, yeah… I’m going to go get some food right now, like just some stuff to drop off…

Themann: “How did they get through?

Chacon: “Well I think they accepted them as like asylum-seekers… So, I’m going to get some groceries and some blankets…

Themann: “Don’t ever repeat this and stuff but like if we just say that we’re buying food for a campaign event, like the Halloween events…

Chacon: “That’s not a horrible idea, but I didn’t hear anything. Umm, we can wait until tomorrow for that.

Themann: “Well that’s exactly the food we need. And I will just mark it as, I do have dozens of block walkers.

“The material Project Veritas Action Fund captured shows campaign workers covering up the true nature of spending of campaign funds and intentionally misreporting them. This violates the FEC’s rules against personal use and misreporting. It also violates Section 1001, making a false statement to the federal government. The FEC violations impose civil penalties, including fines of up to $10,000 or 200 percent of the funds involved. Violations of Section 1001 are criminal and include imprisonment of up to five years.”

Themann: “There’s actually stores that just mark it as ‘food’ they don’t mark different types… at Albertsons, on the receipts, it marks it just based off of brand…

Chacon: “I think we can use that with those [campaign pre-paid] cards to buy some food, all that s**t can be totally masked like, oh we just wanted a healthy breakfast!

About O’Rourke’s mother being a “lifelong Republican”:

Beto: “I introduce my mom sometimes, and I kid her a little bit, like ‘my mom’s a lifelong Republican, but we got her to vote for us in this race.’ One day, she came up to me, and she said, ‘You know, that’s just not right: I would describe myself as an independent now, not a Republican. Definitely not a Democrat.’ I don’t know what the size of that universe is, but anecdotally we’re meeting a lot of people who have described themselves that way.

Even more interesting, though, is Beto’s years-long alliance with a man who compares America to Nazi Germany and law enforcement to terrorists.

Kellyanne’s Husband Goes NUCLEAR on Twitter, Calls Trump The ‘C’ Word

George Conway’s latest lambasting of the President surely has him sleeping on the couch.

George Conway

As the nation begins to dig in their heels in regard to their views of President Trump, we are undoubtedly set for a prolonged social and cultural battle. Our nation was already deeply divided prior to the release of the Mueller report; itself a lightning rod of controversy involving political biases, alleged spying, campaign rivals, and flaring tempers.  These facets of the already-wild story were then amplified, predictably, by an unkempt and irresponsible mainstream media simply for the sake of cashing in on the outrage that they themselves fanned the flames of. This national nightmare has created its fair share of “divided households” as well, with the most famous example being that of Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway and her husband George, himself a longtime figure in Washington DC. The fairer Conway is, obviously, still on Team Trump, while George has roaring against the President on Twitter at a breakneck pace. His latest insult, coming just hours after the release of the redacted Mueller report, may be his most stern yet. “What the Mueller report disturbingly shows, with crystal clarity, is that today there is a cancer in the presidency: President Donald J. Trump,” Conway wrote in a Washington Post opinion-editorial. “Congress now bears the solemn constitutional duty to excise that cancer without delay.” Conway’s insinuation is nearly verbatim to the slant of the mainstream media, who also see the Mueller report as the beginning and not the end. Of course, this runs counter to what both the President and Attorney General Bill Barr have stated repeatedly over the course of the last several hours.

Would-Be NYC Cathedral Arsonist Had Just Purchased a One Way Ticket To…

The story just keeps getting stranger…and more worrisome as well.

Rome vatican

As with just about any news these days, there was an almost immediate sprouting of conspiracy theories surrounding the blaze at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris this week. For many social media users, the coincidence of the inferno occurring on Monday of Holy Week was just too much.  They saw this as “a sign”, and almost certainly as a “nefarious act”, possibly played out in order to spark some sort of Holy War. The theories get much wilder than that as well, but we dare not wade too deep into the conspiratorial waters, lest we want to be blacklisted by some clandestine “fact checking” gestapo. Despite the insistence of investigators that there was no reason to believe foul play was at work, the internet’s darker corners remained skeptical.  Then, came the story of a man in NYC who was arrested after walking into Saint Patrick’s Cathedral with two cans of gas, some lighter fluid, and a lighting device. This sparked a whole new realm of conspiracy for many…and that was before we knew about his travel plans. Marc Lamparello, a former director of music at a New Jersey Roman Catholic Church, was arrested at the historic St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City on Wednesday night after security stopped him with two cans of gasoline, lighter fluid and butane lighters, police said. Sources with the New York City Police Department told ABC News that he also purchased a one-way ticket to Rome, which was scheduled to depart from Newark, New Jersey, on Thursday evening. Lamparello, 37, was charged with attempted arson, reckless endangerment and some violations of city codes. He told police that he was taking a shortcut through church to reach his minivan, which he claimed had run out of gas. Police then inspected Lamparello’s vehicle, determined that it…
