If true, his reign as North Korean dictator was not long. Kim Jong-un has not been seen in public for weeks and even skipped out on the hermit kingdom’s largest event of the year (his grandpa’s birthday).
Some reports are claiming Kim is in a “vegetative state“ after a botched cardiac procedure.
Others are saying he’s dead.

A vice director of HKSTV Hong Kong Satellite Television, a Beijing-backed broadcast network in Hong Kong, claimed that Kim was dead, citing a “very solid source.” Her post on the Chinese messaging app Weibo has been shared widely on social media, according to a report in the International Business Times.
