Acosta’s accosting of a young, female intern will like go down in history as a flashpoint for the corporate media’s downfall.

During Wednesday’s long and somewhat unnerving press conference in the East Room, CNN’s Jim Acosta found himself in hot water.

The showboating reporter from the mainstream, corporate media, had asked the President a tough question regarding a controversial advertisement created for the midterms that portrayed the thousands-strong migrant caravan as an “invasion”.  (Military aged men marching toward our border carrying the flags of their home nation tend to be characterized as such in reality).

The President, who has already clashed with Acosta on several occasions, recognized the reporter’s attempt to grandstand and verbally put Acoosta in his place.  That’s when a White House intern attempted to wrest the mic away from Acosta.  The reporter’s reaction to the attempt then caused him to have his press credential indefinitely suspended.

This doesn’t even begin to address the accusations that the White House had willfully shared a “doctored” version of the video of the event in which someone had sped up the altercation to make it seem more damning to Acosta.

To be quite far, the look on the intern’s face says everything that you need to know about the confrontation, as her bewildered stare and body language indicate that she was both taken aback and offended by Acosta’s unnecessary physicality.
