If Joe Biden does, in fact, become president of the United States, the entire country will look like Lori Lightfoot’s Chicago. Lockdowns, lockdowns, lockdowns.

As if most businesses didn’t suffer enough during the first shutdown, Joe & co. would cause even more harm to the economy from day one.

If you live in Chicago, what do you think about your mayor essentially canceling Thanksgiving?

Democratic Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot issued another lockdown advisory on Thursday as COVID-19 cases spike in her city, and urged Chicagoans to cancel their Thanksgiving plans.

Starting Monday, Lightfoot will impose a 10-person ceiling on gatherings such as weddings, funerals, and other events, according to the Chicago Tribune.

REACTIONS:

When are the people of Chicago (and other radically far-left cities) going to acknowledge that Democrat “leadership” brings about nothing but pain and anxiety? (And anarchy?)

From TDW:

Chicago’s mayor, Lori Lightfoot, announced Tuesday that the city is facing a historic $1.2 billion budget shortfall for the fiscal year 2021, following what the mayor called a “catastrophic” economic collapse caused by the coronavirus pandemic and by widespread rioting and looting that did an estimated $60 million in physical damage to the city’s downtown and untold damage to its tourism industry.

“Saying Chicago faces ‘a crisis unlike anything we have experienced in our lifetimes,’ Mayor Lori Lightfoot painted a grave financial picture for the city on Monday, detailing a projected $1.2 billion budget shortfall in the 2021 fiscal year,” Chicago’s public broadcasting station, WTTW reported.

AOC Strikes Back At Manchin For Criticizing Her, Says He’s Diminishing ‘Seriousness Of’ My ‘Policy Work’

The Democratic Party is experiencing a lot of in-fighting between the hardcore socialist wing and the more traditionally center-left establishment, a battle that is clearly seen by the tiff between Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Joe Manchin. Manchin recently slammed AOC, stating that she spends most of her time on Twitter rather than being active in Congress. This comment didn’t sit well with the congresswoman who is lashing out in retaliation against Manchin for his comment, accusing him of “diminishing the seriousness” of her “policy work.” “I find it amusing when politicians try to diminish the seriousness of our policy work, movement organizing & grassroots fundraising to ‘she just tweets,’ as though ‘serious’ politics is only done by begging corporate CEOs for money through wax-sealed envelopes delivered by raven,” AOC posted on Twitter. https://twitter.com/AOC/status/1333958991613923331 via Daily Wire: Ocasio-Cortez’s tweet came in response to a comment Manchin made in response to her trolling him on social media. “I guess she put the dagger stare on me,” Manchin told The New York Times. “I don’t know the young lady — I really don’t. I never met her. I’m understanding she’s not that active with her bills or in committee. She’s more active on Twitter than anything else.” The report noted that Manchin’s words constituted “a sharp insult” because in the U.S. Senate “legislative prowess is prized.” According to Congress.gov, Ocasio-Cortez has not introduced a single bill as the primary sponsor that has become law. In fact, the furthest any of her bills have made it is to Floor Consideration and that was just one bill. She has cosponsored 11 bills that have become law. Manchin, a centrist Democrat, also conducted an interview with Fox News in which he ripped AOC and her buddies. “They’ll have to answer to the public,” Manchin told…

Rudy Giuliani

The NY Times has managed to get a lot of things wrong over the years that President Trump has been in office. How many times does this publication need to have its credibility shot all to pieces before folks stop reading it? President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani is currently denying a report published by the New York Times that suggests he once discussed a preemptive pardon as recently as last week. “#FakeNews NYT lies again,” he posted on Twitter. via Newsmax: “Never had the discussion they falsely attribute to an anonymous source,” Giuliani said. “Hard to keep up with all their lies.” Giuliani, who has not been charged with any crime, has drawn scrutiny for his dealings in Ukraine on behalf of President Donald Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani has come out and denied allegations made in a recent New York Times report that he discussed a pardon with the commander-in-chief. Giuliani’s lawyer, Robert Costello, told the Times that Giuliani is not concerned about the investigation, “because he didn’t do anything wrong, and that’s been our position from Day 1.” Mainstream media news outlets have been biased against the president for a long, long time. Since he first announced his bid for the White House. They recognize his power and influence over regular Americans. His ability to relate to the common man and to actually do what he says he’s going to do frightens liberals. Trump stands in direct opposition to their goal of transforming our country into a socialist nightmare. Is it any wonder they’d start targeting those who have helped him in his crusade to put America first?
