What do you do when you’re failing rather impressively in a crowded field of presidential candidates?

You throw as many things at the wall at once to see what sticks.

Enter Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke.

What are the odds a failed Senate candidate and a failed gubernatorial candidate team up to take on President Trump and Vice President Pence in 2020?

Maybe not as far-fetched as it seems.

If Beto nabs the Democrat nomination, he may choose Georgia flag-burner Stacey Abrams as his running mate.

There are some things you just don’t say because they are so unbelievably untrue that it makes you sound like an ignoramus.

O’Rourke has yet to learn that.

During a recent speech, the 2020 contender compared America’s immigration laws to slavery.

WATCH:

Like a good Democrat, Beto refuses to acknowledge (let alone accept) the fact that America is the most generous nation on earth.

He also fails to note that the United States will no longer be taken advantage of under Trump.

O’Rourke couldn’t defeat Ted Cruz to win a seat from Texas in the United States Senate, yet he believes he can take down Trump in 2020.

Although he has the name recognition and an influx of cash, O’Rourke is almost certain to lose the Democrat Party nomination to either Senator Bernie Sanders or former Vice President Joe Biden (once he eventually enters the race).

Now, Beto’s campaign just lost two top aides.

From The Hill:

Two aides to former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas) have reportedly departed his 2020 presidential campaign, an O’Rourke spokesperson told BuzzFeed News on Saturday.

Becky Bond, a top adviser to O’Rourke, and her deputy, Zack Malitz, have both left the campaign. The two worked on O’Rourke’s competitive 2018 Texas Senate bid against Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas).

Bond noted, “Launching a presidential campaign without a big staff or even a campaign manager was no easy feat and it took everyone pitching in. We’re proud to have been part of the team of deeply dedicated staff and volunteers who nearly pulled off a historic upset in the 2018 Texas Senate race and broke records launching Beto’s campaign for the presidency.

’60 Minutes’ Report on UFO’s has Twitter Users Spooked

The segment had social media users losing their collective minds.

When it comes to the relationship between the US government and her citizens, there is little doubt that trust is an issue.  We’ve long understood that the large, cumbersome, federal agencies that our tax dollars fund are keeping many of us in the dark, and that rightly irks a great many Americans. Perhaps there is no better example of this secrecy than on the subject of UFO’s, beginning with the purported crash of a flying saucer in Roswell, New Mexico back in the late 1940’s, and continuing to this day with incidents such as the “Tic Tac” encounters reported by members of the armed forces. On Sunday night, mainstream news outfit 60 Minutes aired one hellacious report on the subject, featuring one of the Pentagon’s most well-respected researchers on the subject. Luis Elizondo spent 20 years running military intelligence operations worldwide: in Afghanistan, the Middle East and Guantanamo. He hadn’t given UFOs a second thought until 2008. That’s when he was asked to join something at the Pentagon called the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, or “AATIP.” Lue Elizondo: The mission of AATIP was quite simple. It was to collect and analyze information involving anomalous aerial vehicles, what I guess in the vernacular you call them UFOs. We call them UAPs. Bill Whitaker: You know how this sounds? It sounds nutty, wacky. Lue Elizondo: Look, Bill, I’m not, I’m not telling you that, that it doesn’t sound wacky. What I’m telling you, it’s real. The question is, what is it? What are its intentions? What are its capabilities? Buried away in the Pentagon, AATIP was part of a $22 million program sponsored by then-Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to investigate UFOs. When Elizondo took over in 2010 he focused on the national security implications of unidentified aerial phenomena documented by U.S. service…

Capitol Rioter Facing House Arrest After Mountain Lion Hunt

The excursion ran afoul of a “no guns” stipulation set by a judge.

While we may be thankfully several months removed from the tumultuous events of the January 6th attempted insurrection at the US Capitol, there is still a great deal of adjudication left to be done on the subject, as these cases are expected to drag out for several more months, or perhaps even years. One of the alleged participants of that event is now in hot water after the court discovered that he had gone on a mountain lion hunt despite being ordered to avoid firearms completely as a condition of his bail. A Colorado hunting guide charged with participating in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol will likely be placed on 24/7 house arrest — instead of remaining free while his case is pending — because he violated the conditions of his release by hunting and killing a mountain lion. Patrick Montgomery, a Littleton hunting guide, shot a mountain lion during a hunt in Douglas County on March 31, even though he was ordered not to possess any guns while the federal charges against him are pending, according to motions filed by prosecutors last week. Montgomery, 48, is accused of kicking a Metropolitan police officer in the chest and wrestling with the officer to try to take the officer’s baton during the Jan. 6 riot in Washington, D.C., according to court records. He was indicted on 10 charges in April, including assaulting a police officer, engaging in physical violence and illegally entering the Capitol building. Prosecutors pulled no punches in their assessment of Montgomery’s actions. “Montgomery has no respect for the Court’s orders, just like he had no respect for law enforcement at the Capitol on January 6,” reads a motion filed by prosecutors. “…Montgomery has flagrantly violated the law and has shown by his actions that he…
