ICYMI: Fifth Circuit Court Rules Major Part of Obamacare Is Unconstitutional [Details]
It’s a good thing the Trump administration is reshaping the federal judiciary. Had Trump not been elected in 2016, the courts would still see a far-left, liberal bent.
On Wednesday, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals voted in favor of conservatives around the nation. And they did so in the name of the United States Constitution. Big day!
Here’s what’s up…
🚨🚨🚨
The Fifth Circuit has upheld Judge O’Connor’s ruling that the Obamacare individual mandate is unconstitutional because it can no longer be read as a tax — but it has remanded to the district court to see if the mandate can be severed from the law.

From USA Today:
A federal appeals court in New Orleans struck down a major part of the Affordable Care Act Wednesday, a decision that could jeopardize health insurance coverage for millions of Americans and set up a potential election-year showdown at the Supreme Court.
The 2-1 ruling against the law’s mandate that people buy insurance, rendered by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, represents the latest action in a string of legal challenges that have imperiled former President Barack Obama’s signature domestic policy achievement since its enactment in 2010.
CONTINUED:
The new challenge stems from the $1.5 trillion tax cut passed by Congress in 2017, which repealed the health care law’s tax on people who refuse to buy insurance. That tax was intended to prod them into the health care marketplace rather than letting them seek emergency care while uninsured.

After initially supporting the Hyde Amendment, 2020 frontrunner Joe Biden has now backed away.
And it happened very, very quickly.
What’s even more odd is that he is blaming Republicans for his decision.
When asked in a rope line if he’d repeal the Hyde Amendment, the 1976 measure that prohibits federal funding for abortion except in the case of rape, incest and endangering the life of the mother, he said he would.
But then his campaign quickly backtracked, saying he misheard the question and that he still supports the measure.

While in New Hampshire, Joe was confronted by an anti-Trump woman.
He agrees with her that 45 is “illegitimate.”

Is this the D equivalent of the birther movement?

Biden is quite the card, even after all these years.
Where he finds the marbles to tell a crowd of rallygoers that he and Barack Obama are responsible for the current thriving economy is anyone’s guess, but when you’re talking to the politically uninformed anything goes.
Check this out…
WATCH:
Joe Biden: “I know President Trump likes to take credit for the economy… Just look at the facts, not the alternative facts. President Trump inherited an economy from Obama-Biden administration that was given to him — just like he inherited everything else in his life.”

Pitiful, Joe. Just pitiful.
