ICYMI: GOP Has Lost 329 State Seats Under Trump, Dems Lost 768 Under Obama At Same Point

Funny how more people aren’t talking about this. It’s pretty big.

At the same point in their first terms of office, President Trump’s approval rating is higher than Barack Obama’s. It might be by only a percentage or two, but it’s something. It’s something the left doesn’t care to admit.

But wait, there’s more. After nearly three years of Obama in office, Democrats lost 768 seats in state legislatures. Republicans didn’t lose nearly that many during Trump’s first three years. Check this out, via Daily Wire:

The party that doesn’t control the White House usually makes gains during a president’s tenure. Control of congress usually flips after the first midterm elections (the biggest example to the contrary being the midterm elections following 9/11, when Republicans picked up more seats).

The media, naturally, has been trying to insist that the damage done to Republicans in state legislatures under President Donald Trump is historic or somehow worse than what happened under President Barack Obama.

To put the political consequences of the Trump presidency into perspective, since Trump was elected, Rs have lost 329 seats in state legislatures. At the same point in the Obama presidency, Ds lost 768 seats. MSM is exaggerating election 2019. A little perspective is needed.

Obama and Bernie Sanders said some stuff about Baltimore on par with Trump’s words and nobody batted an eye.

Trump’s tweets:

Rep, Elijah Cummings has been a brutal bully, shouting and screaming at the great men & women of Border Patrol about conditions at the Southern Border, when actually his Baltimore district is FAR WORSE and more dangerous. His district is considered the Worst in the USA……

….As proven last week during a Congressional tour, the Border is clean, efficient & well run, just very crowded. Cumming District is a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess. If he spent more time in Baltimore, maybe he could help clean up this very dangerous & filthy place

From Daily Caller:

Democratic Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings responded early Saturday to President Donald Trump’s tweets calling his district a “disgusting, rat and rodent-infested mess.”

Trump began the morning by criticizing Cummings for attacking the administration’s border policies, suggesting that the congressman should get his own house in order before he started in on the president.

Cummings’ response:

Here’s what Bernie said in 2016:

Residents of Baltimore’s poorest boroughs have lifespans shorter than people living under dictatorship in North Korea. That is a disgrace.

Check out Obama’s words from 2015:

‘The Palestinian Delusion’ Untangles a Web of Fashionable Lies (Opinion)

A thoughtful opinion piece…

Published

on

Chances are that if you know a college student, he or she believes these things: Israel exists on stolen land. Israelis are all just Europeans, anyway. The true inhabitants of the land that is called Israel today are the Palestinians, and their country is Palestine. The Israeli occupation is cruel, and marked by numerous human rights abuses perpetrated against the innocent Palestinians. One day, the occupation will end, and from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free. But fervently and passionately believed falsehoods are still just falsehoods. And now, one of the nation’s foremost authorities on Islam and jihad, and author of the unique and groundbreaking The History of Jihad, has turned to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and delivered a concise but comprehensive refutation of all the false claims about this conflict that prevail today on college campuses and elsewhere. In the sharp and factual book The Palestinian Delusion: The Catastrophic History of the Middle East Peace Process, historian Robert Spencer untangles the web of lies that envelop all discussion of this conflict in the international media, and gives us the unvarnished (and often unwelcome) truth. One thing that nobody ever seems to wonder about is why this conflict is still going on so many decades after some of the most renowned and respected leaders in the world began to devote concerted efforts to ending it. Why has every one of the numerous attempts to bring peace failed, and failed consistently for seven decades now? In The Palestinian Delusion, Spencer answers that question and many others about this intractable dispute, and in the process, establishes definitively that Israel, contrary to the claims of so many among the academic, political, and media elites, not only has a right to exist, but has the best claim of any country to the supposedly…

Ilhan Omar: Hateful Rhetorical Is Synonymous With Republican Party, Which Inspires Terror Attacks

Is this what she truly believes?

Ilhan Omar might’ve been dropped on her head. Not as a child, but as an adult. Okay, maybe both. For someone to be this ignorant about, well, everything, goes to show that too many people don’t understand politics or America, in general. The freshman lawmaker made some very silly comments on radically far-left MSNBC host Joy Reid’s morning program on Sunday. Go figure. But even for Ilhan, this stuff is pretty ridiculous. From Daily Wire: Anti-Semitic Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) attacked Republicans on Sunday during an interview on far-left MSNBC, claiming that the Republican Party is synonymous with hateful and “sinful” rhetoric. […] “Yeah, I mean hate, sinful, [unintelligible] rhetoric is very dangerous and it’s becoming synonymous with the Republican Party,” Omar responded. “They have refused to condemn and distance themselves from members within their party that have threatened my life and the lives of others, that have caused the deaths of people in this country who follow their message, and have put their names, the names of our president, and many of the Republican leaders in their manifestos as they have taken innocent lives.” WATCH: WOW Watch Ilhan Omar say that Hate is becoming “synonymous with the Republican Party” I’m old enough to remember when some Congresswoman Tweeted some pretty Hateful things herself. https://twitter.com/bennyjohnson/status/1206354899799334912?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1206354899799334912&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailywire.com%2Fnews%2Filhan-omar-hate-sinful-rhetoric-is-synonymous-with-gop-gop-inspires-terror-attacks Israel can do no right in the eyes of Omar, Rashida Tlaib – any Democrat, really. Never mind that Palestine doesn’t really exist and that multiple nations have threatened to wipe the Jewish homeland off the face of the earth – that doesn’t matter to the left. What matters is that all things America – and American-ally – are badmouthed and trashed. WATCH: Anti-Semitic Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) says that Israel is not a democracy and is not an ally of the United States https://twitter.com/RealSaavedra/status/1163551579850412032?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1163551579850412032&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailywire.com%2Fnews%2F50811%2Fomar-claims-israel-not-democracy-or-ally-lies-ryan-saavedra
