It might take another full year but the Supreme Court has finally decided to take on DACA.

They shot it down time after time.

No more.

The #DACA cases will be argued and decided in the court’s next term, which begins in October. The justices have repeatedly denied the administration’s requests to speed up the case, so it could be a full year before we get a ruling.

BREAKING: Supreme Court agrees to hear Trump’s bid to end Obama’s DACA program. Case likely to be decided next year in the heat of the presidential campaign.

More from Fox News:

The Trump administration in 2017 announced its plan to phase out the program, but federal courts have ruled that the phase-out could not apply retroactively and that the program should be restarted.

The White House fought back on those decisions, saying the president has broad authority over immigration enforcement policy.

DACA proponents have also argued that Trump’s planned termination of the program violates federal law requiring adequate notice-and-comment periods before certain federal rules are changed, as well as other constitutional equal protection and due process guarantees.

Bernie noted, “If you’re asking me would I ever appoint a Supreme Court justice who does not believe in defending Roe vs. Wade, who does not believe that a woman has the right to control her own body, I will never do that.

Bernie weighed in on Alabama’s new anti-abortion law, saying: “What they did in Alabama was unbelievable. The idea that women in this country should not be able to control their own bodies is beyond belief.
