Ilhan Omar Hits Rock Bottom, Uses Iconic George W. Bush Quote to DEFEND 9/11 Comment
If Rep. Ilhan Omar is making members of her party proud, they are certainly staying quiet.
The usual suspects of Ocasio-Cortez and Rashida Tlaib have repeatedly come to Omar’s defense, but that’s because they’re trying to make waves and are seemingly just as ignorant as their fellow freshman lawmaker.
While attempting to defend her egregious 9/11 comment, where she said “some people did something,” Omar compared her words to those of former President George W. Bush.
Watch as this unfolds to see how horribly ridiculous it really is…
First, Ilhan’s tweet:
“The people — and the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon!” President George W. Bush
Was Bush downplaying the terrorist attack?
What if he was a Muslim 🤔

Omar took Bush’s words 100% out-of-context for her own benefit.
Here’s Bush’s speech on that day in 2001, per MarketWatch:
President Bush: I want you all to know that America today, America today is on bended knee, in prayer for the people whose lives were lost here, for the workers who work here, for the families who mourn. The nation stands with the good people of New York City and New Jersey and Connecticut as we mourn the loss of thousands of our citizens
Rescue Worker: I can’t hear you!
President Bush: I can hear you! I can hear you! The rest of the world hears you! And the people — and the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon!

At this point, Ilhan needs to resign. She has done nothing but reveal her anti-American ways from day one in Congress and enough is enough.
Ocasio-Cortez also took to defending Omar by attacking war hero GOP Rep. Dan Crenshaw (TX) – per The Daily Wire:
The 29-year-old former bartender attacked Crenshaw, a decorated war hero, by suggesting that he was not fighting for the families of 9/11 victims and saying that he should “go do something” about terrorism.
As a Navy SEAL, Crenshaw lost his eye fighting terrorists in Afghanistan and earned 2 Bronze Stars (one with Valor), the Purple Heart, the Navy Commendation Medal with Valor, and other awards.
Crenshaw’s tweet about Omar:
First Member of Congress to ever describe terrorists who killed thousands of Americans on 9/11 as “some people who did something”.
Unbelievable.

AOC’s dastardly response:
You refuse to cosponsor the 9/11 Victim’s Compensation Fund, yet have the audacity to drum resentment towards Ilhan w/completely out-of-context quotes.
In 2018, right-wing extremists were behind almost ALL US domestic terrorist killings. Why don’t you go do something about that?

Why is Alexandria’s tweet so nutty? Well, here are a couple of reasons…
This is pretty deceptive.
The bill has *not* even been voted on in the House.
A person does *not* have to cosponsor a bill to vote in support of it.
