Imagine if a conservative did this…

If a conservative did or said half of the things Ilhan Omar has done and said, he or she would not only be booted from office but probably fearing for their life.

This one gets away with everything.

The media continues to look the other way.

Federal Election Commission records released Thursday show that over the first three weeks of July, Omar’s campaign sent $606,000 to the E Street Group, a D.C.-based consulting firm run by Tim Mynett, Omar’s husband. The money accounted for 77 percent of the campaign’s disbursements during that time.

Omar’s new campaign filings also show that the congresswoman raised $407,000 over the first three weeks of July, nearly equal to the $471,000 she pulled in over the previous three months. Omar now has $732,000 in cash on hand. Melton-Meaux, meanwhile, finished the last quarter with $2 million at his disposal. His campaign’s pre-primary report was not submitted at the time of this writing.

Why is Ilhan untouchable?

If she’s not getting dinged for potentially committing immigration fraud by marrying her brother or bashing Israel or spitting on the United States Constitution, what has Omar done since winning her seat in Congress besides create drama?

From Free Beacon:

Omar’s new committee filings, posted Wednesday afternoon, show that during the first three months of the year, the campaign paid $292,905 to the E Street Group. E Street is a political consulting firm owned by Omar’s husband, Tim Mynett. The cash, which reportedly went toward an array of services that included fundraising and advertisements, accounted for over 40 percent of the campaign’s $674,892 in disbursements. Omar raised $456,374 during the quarter.

[…]

The Omar campaign also doled out $525,000 last year to Mynett’s firm, its top vendor. At the time, Omar and Mynett were married to different people, but Mynett’s wife alleged they were having an affair. The two denied that they had a romantic relationship. Omar’s campaign and the E Street Group also faced accusations of using campaign funds on personal travel.

Man Arrested for Rape Is Let Out of Jail Over COVID-19, Then Murders the Woman He Raped

Still want to let criminals out?

Democrat policies made this unfortunate story possible. Liberal “leaders” won’t take any of the blame, though. Sure, the only person to commit a criminal act was Ibrahim Bouaichi, but he shouldn’t have been released from jail in the first place. Are Dems still cool with freeing bad people? From TDW: A Maryland man being held in a Virginia prison on rape charges was released over coronavirus concerns, then allegedly murdered his accuser, according to police. Police tracked down and found Ibrahim Bouaichi, 33, in Prince George’s County, Maryland, on Wednesday. Authorities sought Bouaichi in connection with the death of Karla Dominguez, who had accused Bouaichi of rape and testified against him in October, according to The Washington Post. CONTINUED: When police located Bouaichi, he fled in his car until he crashed. Police moving to arrest him found that he had apparently shot himself. Bouaichi remained in critical condition on Thursday. Partly on Dominguez’s testimony, Bouaichi was indicted on five felony charges of rape, sodomy, strangulation, abduction, and burglary. Bouaichi was held without bail in an Alexandria prison facility until April 9, when Circuit Court Judge Nolan Dawkins ordered his release on a $25,000 bond. Busted.

If Rashida Tlaib was a Republican and got caught illegal distributing funds from a campaign, there would be calls for her immediate resignation. But she’s a Democrat – so it’s all good! From Fox News: Rep. Rashida Tlaib has been ordered to repay $10,800 to her campaign committee to account for the salary she had paid herself from her campaign coffers after she had been elected to Congress in 2018. The bipartisan House Ethics Committee found the Michigan Democrat’s violation “was one of bad timing and not ill intent.” The committee ordered her to pay $10,800 of the $17,500 she received from her campaign in 2018. Congressional candidates are allowed to draw paychecks from their campaigns, but payments are only allowed during an active candidacy. Continued: “The committee did not find that she sought to unjustly enrich herself by receiving the campaign funds at issue,” the committee wrote Friday. “Indeed, during her campaign, Representative Tlaib received a conservative amount of campaign funds, well below the legal threshold for the maximum amount of salary she was eligible to receive; these payments allowed her to forego her salary from her full-time employment so that she could fully participate in campaign activities.” LOOK: https://twitter.com/RashidaTlaib/status/1245428215751065602?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1245428215751065602&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Ftwitchy.com%2Fbrettt-3136%2F2020%2F04%2F01%2Frep-rashida-tlaib-reminds-us-the-covid-19-pandemic-is-exposing-structural-racism-in-the-us%2F REACTIONS:
