Irony: Michelle Obama Speaks at Event to Unite Women, Smashes on Female Trump Voters

So much for all that talk of inclusivity.

Wouldn’t it be grand if the Obamas took a long leave of absence from the public square?

Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem like something that’s going to happen anytime soon, so it looks like we’re just going to have to deal with their continued efforts to destroy our beautiful nation without the fancy titles.

Former First Lady Michelle Obama spoke at the United State of Women Summit in Los Angeles over the weekend, which is an event that is supposed to unite women from all walks of life. However, thanks to her speech, it looks like women of different political affiliations are going to continue clawing at each other’s necks.

Instead of celebrating their shared womanhood, Obama decided to use her time as an opportunity to slam women who voted for Trump, creating even more division in an already split country.

Speaking to the largely leftist crowd, Obama suggested women might be facing a problem, as a gender, if around half of American women voted for Donald Trump.

“In light of this last election, I’m concerned about us as women and how we think,” she said, according to The Hill. “What is going on in our heads where we let that happen, you know?”

She then implied that women have absorbed sexism, and that’s why women selected a less qualified male candidate over a more qualified female candidate.

“When the most qualified person running was a woman, and look what we did instead, I mean that says something about where we are,” she continued. “That’s what we have to explore, because if we as women are still suspicious of one another, if we still have this crazy, crazy bar for each other that we don’t have for men … if we’re not comfortable with the notion that a woman could be our president compared to … what, then we have to have those conversations with ourselves as women.”

Isn’t it hilariously ironic that so many folks on the left claim to be feminists who are fighting boldly for women to have equal rights, to have a seat at the cultural table, to freely express themselves, and yet as soon as they dare take a step outside of the progressive program, they get bashed in every conceivable way.

Some of the most vile, sexist insults toward women have come from left-wing feminists taking aim at conservative ladies who dare to stand for traditional values.

So much for all that equality business.

Hail to the chief!

President Trump may no longer work from behind the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t planning something big to keep the MAGA movement alive. Here’s the latest on 45, via Washington Examiner: WEST PALM BEACH, Florida — Former President Donald Trump gave nothing away about his plans for life after the White House as he dined with friends at his golf club on Friday. “We’ll do something, but not just yet,” he told the Washington Examiner as he sat at his regular table in the Grill Room of the Trump International Golf Club. An aide to the former chief executive then swooped in and swiftly, but politely, ended the interaction. CONTINUED: Trump has let it be known that he is considering another run for the White House in 2024. Reports also suggested that he was considering setting up a new party, the Patriot Party, as a vehicle to run for office. He brought a small staff with him to Florida. They are working out of the Mar-a-Lago club as they begin to ramp up operations. AOC: I Didn’t Attend Inauguration Because I Didn’t ‘Feel Safe’ Around Republicans

UNITY!

If Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez loved history (or her country), she would’ve been in attendance at the inauguration on January 20 – however fraudulent it may be. You’d think someone like AOC would want to see history being made when Kamala Harris was sworn-in as the first female vice president – however fraudulent it may be, also. Instead, the loudmouth from the Bronx decided to push her style of “unity” by saying Republicans are dangerous. Swell. From The Daily Wire: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said during an interview on Thursday night that part of the reason that she did not attend President Joe Biden’s inauguration was because she does not feel safe around Republicans. “You knew that people would ask why you weren’t there,” CNN host Chris Cuomo said. “This was a good cause, from your perspective, of dealing with your constituency. But this was supposed to be a show of force, and unity, and you weren’t there. Explain it.” She blabbered, “Yeah, you know, I think we also had very real security concerns as well, as you mentioned earlier. We still don’t yet feel safe around other Members of Congress and…” VIDEO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfnj-mjqJf8&feature=emb_title
