J6 Committee Interviews Another Trump Family Member
The clock is ticking for the bipartisan-in-name-only committee investigating the events of January 6th, 2021, and they appear to be turning desperate in the waning days of their investigation.
Come the conclusion of the midterm elections later this year, there is a good chance that the committee will be summarily disbanded by the seemingly inevitable GOP majority in the House and Senate. This burgeoning reality has begun to set in for the group, and their testimony targets are moving closer to Donald Trump’s inner circle than ever before.
The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 assault on the U.S. Capitol met behind closed doors with Kimberly Guilfoyle, who advised former President Donald Trump’s 2020 re-election campaign and is also his son, Donald Trump Jr.’s fiancee.

The testimony is a long time coming.
Her appearance came nearly two months after Guilfoyle and her lawyers abruptly ended a voluntary virtual interview by committee staff over frustration with its format. At the time, her lawyer said they had ended the interview after certain members of the panel appeared on the call, which Guilfoyle was not expecting. The panel, however, contended it had informed her lawyers that members could show up. It later issued a subpoena to Guilfoyle, compelling her testimony and records.
Guilfoyle has maintained her innocence, with her lawyer stating that she will be testifying truthfully before the committee.
