James Comey Cops to Cutting Corners, Ignoring Protocol in Flynn Kerfuffle

We The People are beginning to sense a pattern here with James Comey…namely that he was a partisan, collusion-prone crook during his time at the head of the FBI.

James Comey

President Donald Trump was always weary of disgraced former FBI director James Comey, even at the time when Comey still had his job and Trump was vying for the republican nomination.

Comey’s sin, at the time, was his negligence in the Hillary Clinton email investigation.  Then in charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Comey declined to press charges against Hillary Clinton for her illegal and immoral use of a private email server in the State Department; one that she used to conduct completely inexcusable “pay to play” deals with America’s foreign friends.

Due to a reason we have yet to fully discern, Comey let this unethical breach of trust and ignoring of the law go uncontested, save for an interview with Clinton herself that apparent occurred after Comey has already made up his mind to not pursue the case.

Comey was subsequently fired for his incompetence by President Trump, but that hasn’t kept the former spook out of the spotlight.  This week, Comey’s troubles are growing larger, as this persona non grata of the intelligence community has admitted to yet another breach of trust.

“Former FBI Director James Comey admitted in a recent interview that he personally made the decision to send a pair of agents to interview President Trump’s national security adviser Michael Flynn in 2017, and acknowledged the arrangement was not typical for dealing with a White House official,” writes Fox News.

Comey went on to call the move “something I probably wouldn’t have done or maybe gotten away with in a more … organized administration.”

“If the FBI wanted to send agents into the White House itself to interview a senior official, you would work through the White House counsel, and there would be discussions and approvals and who would be there,” he added. “I thought: ‘It’s early enough, let’s just send a couple guys over.’”

If President Trump was looking for an excuse to drag Comey back in front of Congress for a public hearing, this could very well be it.

State Police Force Faces Mass Resignations Over Vaccine Mandate

That can’t be good…

Americans these days appear to be more concerned than ever with their bodily sovereignty, and this could create an enormous shift in the way that some folks choose their careers.

In particular, the increase in vaccine mandates among certain professions has driven a number of American workers to seek new employment, including a number of healthcare workers in New York State.  In fact, the exodus in NYC could be so significant that the National Guard and foreign doctors may need to be brought in to fill the gap.

Meanwhile, in neighboring Massachusetts, it’s the police force that could soon be gutted.

The State Police Association of Massachusetts (SPAM) said dozens of troopers have submitted their resignation papers as a result of the state’s COVID vaccine mandate.

The state is requiring all executive department employees to show proof of vaccination by October 17, or risk losing their jobs.

The Union released a statement in which they suggested that these officers would seek employment in places with “reasonable” practices instead.

To date, dozens of troopers have already submitted their resignation paperwork, some of whom plan to return to other departments offering reasonable alternatives such as mask wearing and regular testing.  The State Police are already critically short staffed and acknowledged this by the unprecedented moves which took troopers from specialty units that investigate homicides, terrorism, computer crimes, arsons, gangs, narcotics, and human trafficking, and returned them to uniformed patrol.

The debate over vaccine mandates has been a heated one here in the United States, and with the federal government now solidly pushing for more of these regulations to go into place, there is no end in sight for the argument.

Given all the tumult and trouble that we have here in the United States, it can be difficult at times to keep ourselves from becoming despondent, perturbed, or even scared for the future.

We are living through a time of political upheaval the likes of which no living American can remember.  Sure, the 1960’s were wild, but what we’re seeing today is far more reminiscent of the 1860’s.

This, combined with the threats posed by international terror, Russia, China, the pandemic, and more, is enough to keep us worried for decades to come.

But, we must never forget that we’re also on a giant rock hurtling through space, and there are far more troubling dangers out there in the universe, waiting to get to us.

The citizens of North Carolina were reminded of that this weekend.

The American Meteor Society shared video taken Friday from the porch of a home in Rowland Pond, North Carolina, showing a massive fireball fall from the sky.

NASA says the fireball fell over the North Carolina coast at around 7:40 p.m. and was one of at least five fireballs seen over the U.S. in the same night.

Fireballs are bright meteors categorized as brighter than the planet Venus, according to the society, a nonprofit that monitors meteors.

The video was simply stunning.

The fireball was witnessed by over 80 people, and was estimated to be moving at 32,000 miles per hour when it was captured on tape.
