Joe Biden, Wife Jill Send Messages Of ‘Swift Recovery’ To President Trump And First Lady After Coronavirus Diagnosis

Published

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his wife Jill sent out messages of well wishes for both President Donald Trump and First lady Melania Trump after the couple tested positive for coronavirus early Friday morning.

Given the knock down drag out the two had during the first debate Tuesday evening, it’s refreshing to see Biden take the high road here and not gloat about the diagnosis, which is what a lot of heartless folk on the left are doing this morning.

via Daily Wire:

“Jill and I send our thoughts to President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump for a swift recovery,” Biden tweeted. “We will continue to pray for the health and safety of the president and his family.”

Biden will be tested for COVID-19 himself later on Friday, according to CNN, just three days after he was on the debate stage with Trump, both of whom were without masks during the 90-minute exchange, though both were more than six feet apart. The campaigns had before agreed to forgo the traditional pre-debate handshake.

Biden confirmed on Sept. 4 that he had been tested at least once for COVID-19 and that he planned to be regularly tested throughout the campaign. “I just, ‘yes, sir,’ show up and put my head back,” he said at the time regarding his testing. “I imagine it’ll be sometime this week, but it will be a regular basis.”

President Trump made the announcement about the positive diagnosis at 1 a.m. on Friday via Twitter:

Let’s make sure we take the time today to pray for the president and his wife. While he has a very high probability of surviving the virus and not even becoming all that ill, this sickness is just the pits.

Here’s to hoping the rest of the Trump family stays safe and healthy.

Joe Biden Claims ‘Trillionaires’ Aren’t Paying Enough Taxes, But there Are No U.S. Trillionaires

Joe Biden attacked American “trillionaires” on Friday even though there aren’t any U.S. trillionaires in the first place.

Joe Biden attacked American “trillionaires” on Friday who he says aren’t paying enough taxes, but — fact check, Joe — there aren’t any U.S. trillionaires in the first place.

“I’m running to change the dynamic of how the economy grows,” Biden said during a presser. “I’m tired of trickle-down. Trillionaires and billionaires are doing very, very well. You all report it.”

It is also unclear what Joe thinks he’s “running” for, unless he has forgotten that he has been crowed president of the United States.

Aside from that, though, even America’s richest person, Amazon chief Jeff Bezos, is a mere multi-billionaire with a net worth of $177 billion, according to Forbes magazine.

Per Breitbart News:

The president spoke about raising taxes on the wealthy after an event promoting coronavirus vaccine booster shots at the White House.

He claimed his policies for a permanent childcare tax credit were not costing the government any money.

“It’s not,” Biden said. “It’s reducing taxes, reducing taxes, not increasing taxes.”

He again pressed the issue of taxes as a moral issue, noting corporations were not paying enough.

“I just think it’s about just paying your fair share,’ he said, adding that it was “just wrong.”

Apparently, Biden doesn’t know who earns what in the U.S. Indeed, his plan would be just another broken campaign promise because it raises taxes on people making under $400,000 a year, something he said he would not do.

Black Lives Matter Leader Calls Biden Vaccine Mandates ‘Racist’

A Black Lives Matter leader in New York is threatening an “uprising” over vaccine mandates pushed by Joe Biden and the Empire State’s Democrat leaders.

New York City enacted a vaccine mandate effective on September 13 that requires vaccine ID cards to enter restaurants, concerts, and other public spaces, but Hawk Newsome, the co-founder and chairman of Black Lives Matter of Greater New York, says these mandates discriminate against blacks.

According to state statistics, a whopping 85.6 percent of New York blacks remain unvaccinated.

This means the vast majority of blacks in New York are barred from participating in open society.

“I think, in a perfect world, [vaccine requirements] should be business by business. But it could be a slippery slope, so the mandate should be removed completely,” Newsome recently told the Washington Examiner.

“It’s not gonna be white men in suits on Wall Street who are gonna get stopped. There’s such hypocrisy in this thing,” he added.

The number of unvaccinated is nearly as bad for the Big Apple with 70 percent of the city’s blacks remaining unvaccinated.

“It’s black people who have a natural distrust of the vaccine,” Newsome added citing the widespread fear raised in blacks thanks to the decades-old story of the Tuskegee Syphilis Study.

Newsome also said it was “disrespectful” for the city to have severely limited religious exemptions. “Now the government has decided your God doesn’t matter?” he asked aloud.

Meanwhile, black support for Biden is plummeting:
