Joy Behar Goes On Vicious Rant, Says Republicans AREN’T Patriotic & Disrespect Veterans

HUH!?

Democrats openly admit they don’t love America but Republicans are not patriotic?

Republicans disrespect veterans?

This is liberal logic, for ya.

[ABC legal analyst Dan] Abrams began by bashing people who are calling Mueller’s performance a win for Trump, citing the times in the testimony Mueller said Trump had “lied” about there being no obstruction and no collusion found. “How is that a win for President Trump?!” he gushed. That prompted Joy Behar to slam Republicans as “disrespectful” to Mueller and to veterans in general (what?!):

“They were very disrespectful, I thought, the Republicans. They have a tendency to be disrespectful to veterans in this country,” she sneered.

Continued:

Behar cited Republicans attacking John Kerry and John McCain as her evidence Republicans hated veterans. But that wasn’t enough; Republicans were also unpatriotic and didn’t believe in “family values,” either:

“It really is upsetting. I don’t want to hear the Republicans say that they are the most patriotic party anymore. I don’t want to hear it. Or family values, as long as they’re locking up children. I don’t want to hear it anymore!

When even the liberal women of ABC’s “The View” are blasting a 2020 Democrat candidate for president, something’s up.

Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren just can’t win.

Whoopi Goldberg, Behar, Sunny Hostin, and Meghan McCain tore into “Pocahontas” for refusing an invitation from Fox News to hold a town hall.

Here’s Warren’s rant against Fox News from Tuesday…

I love town halls. I’ve done more than 70 since January, and I’m glad to have a television audience be a part of them. Fox News has invited me to do a town hall, but I’m turning them down—here’s why…

Fox News is a hate-for-profit racket that gives a megaphone to racists and conspiracists—it’s designed to turn us against each other, risking life and death consequences, to provide cover for the corruption that’s rotting our government and hollowing out our middle class.

Hate-for-profit works only if there’s profit, so Fox News balances a mix of bigotry, racism, and outright lies with enough legit journalism to make the claim to advertisers that it’s a reputable news outlet. It’s all about dragging in ad money—big ad money.

But Fox News is struggling as more and more advertisers pull out of their hate-filled space. A Democratic town hall gives the Fox News sales team a way to tell potential sponsors it’s safe to buy ads on Fox—no harm to their brand or reputation (spoiler: It’s not).

Here’s one place we can fight back: I won’t ask millions of Democratic primary voters to tune into an outlet that profits from racism and hate in order to see our candidates—especially when Fox will make even more money adding our valuable audience to their ratings numbers.

I’m running a campaign to reach all Americans. I take questions from the press and voters everywhere I go. I’ve already held town halls in 17 states and Puerto Rico—including WV, OH, GA, UT, TN, TX, CO, MS & AL.

I’ve done 57 media avails and 131 interviews, taking over 1,100 questions from press just since January. Fox News is welcome to come to my events just like any other outlet. But a Fox News town hall adds money to the hate-for-profit machine. To which I say: hard pass.

Unfortunately, once Warren inevitably concedes her bid for the White House she’ll still be fighting against America in the Senate.

Save conservative media!

Luxury Buildings Hire Armed Guards In Preparation For Election Day Madness

Published

The ultra-rich in the city of New York have been preparing for the possibility of civil unrest on Election Day next, hiring armed guards to watch over luxury buildings in Manhattan. Managers over at the Time Warner Center, located on Columbus Circle — where penthouse apartments are only a measly $62.5 million — are deploying off-duty police officers armed with “submachine guns” to keep an eye on things. Other homes and buildings for the wealthy are taking other measures to increase security. “Everybody is worried about security,” an insider said to reporters. “Every top building is adding security. It’s out of control. We hope it won’t be needed, but we will be ready.” The insider said the building is currently working with the NYPD and Homeland Security. “There will be officers with submachine guns,” the source stated. “We’ve always had immense security, but there will be more. We’ll have extra patrols. The entire building can be shut down with one button.” via Fox News: Many buildings are hiring off duty cops instead of private security companies because they fear a repeat of Denver, where a private guard shot and killed a protester, said one real estate insider. “The NYPD is advising buildings to get the extra security,” the source said. “They’ve never done this before.” Other top buildings, such as 220 Central Park South, which is home to hedge funder Ken Griffin’s $238 million condo, say they are already well guarded but will take extra precautions, like keeping entrances locked at night, and only open to residents. How sad is it that folks are terrified about their physical safety and for the property they own simply because of a national election, which is one of the many privileges of living in a republic? We, unlike many nations, get to choose…

Good News: Jobless Claims Drop to 751,000, Which Is A New Pandemic Low

Published

on

Good news in the realm of economics as the number of new applications for unemployment benefits dropped down to 751,000 last week, according to a new report from the Labor Department. This is a the lowest numbers we’ve seen since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. The number of actual claims was lower than the 770,000 predicted by economists. via Washington Examiner: Additionally, states reported 359,667 initial claims for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance, a new category of eligibility created by the March CARES Act that provides benefits for workers sidelined by the pandemic, such as gig workers whose work dried up. Altogether, then, around 1.1 million workers filed for benefits. Thursday’s release indicates that the labor market is healing, if slowly, but that the situation remains extremely bad by historical standards. In comparison, prior to the pandemic, weekly claims had been running close to 200,000. Another point of comparison would be that weekly claims now are still worse than they were at the depths of the Great Recession in 2009. The total number of people claiming benefits in all programs for the week ending Oct. 10 was more than 22 million. Last year, in the comparable week, that number was 1.4 million. This is fantastic news for our country. We’re finally on the road to recovery after this extremely difficult year. Now, if only we could get folks to stop panicking needlessly about COVID-19 and fighting to keep lockdowns going perpetually, that would be most excellent. While the virus that swept the globe was definitely real and nothing to laugh at, much of the science points to the reaction to the illness being just as bad, if not worse, than the disease itself. Lockdowns almost completely destroyed the economy. The left was thrilled by this because it took away one of…
