Smollett’s unwillingness to atone for his hoax could cost him a whole lot more than the $130K Chicago was asking for.

Jussie Smollett

Jussie Smollett’s heinous hate hoax hassle isn’t over yet…not by a long shot.

The Empire actor was found to have committed a vile and ridiculous hoaxed hate crime against himself by the Chicago police; a scam in which the actor paid two on-set extras to commit the “attack”, all for the sake of raising Smollett’s public persona, thus allowing the hoaxer to demand a raise in Hollywood.

It was sleazy at best and undoubtedly inexcusable.  That’s why authorities in The Windy City took it upon themselves to demand that Smollett recoup the police force’s expenses in investigating the nonsense to the tune of $130,000.

The deadline for Smollett to comply with the order has come and gone, with the actor simply ignoring it.

Now, a lengthy legal fight will ensue.

With the passing this evening of a deadline set by out-going Mayor Rahm Emanuelfor Smollett to repay the Windy City $130,000 for the costs of the investigation into the alleged attack against him, Chicago is going to sue the actor.

“Mr. Smollett has refused to reimburse the City of Chicago for the cost of police overtime spent investigating his false police report on January 29, 2019, a spokesperson of the Midwestern metropolis said Thursday as it became EOD in Chicago. “The Law Department is now drafting a civil complaint that will be filed in the Circuit Court of Cook County. Once it is filed, the Law Department will send a courtesy copy of the complaint to Mr. Smollett’s L.A. based legal team.”

Under Chicago law, the amount to be sought from Smollett can now be raised to nearly $400,000, due to the actor’s unwillingness to cooperate with the first request.

Actress Roseanne Barr, who has been largely silent over the last couple of years since being fired from ABC in 2018 over a controversial tweet she posted comparing former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett to characters from the film Planet of the Apes. Yeah. That was a very, very poor choice of words. There’s little argument about that. However, Barr did explain that it wasn’t meant as a racial slur at all and she should have been granted the benefit of the doubt. Well, Barr is now considering a lawsuit against ABC for giving her the boot. The actress appeared on an episode of “Quarantined With Norm MacDonald” on Sunday on the former Saturday Night Live alum’s YouTube channel where she discussed the matter. Here’s more from The Washington Examiner: “I have the time now to research and come up with the perfect lawsuit,” she said, adding, “The lawsuit I’m going to wage against Hollywood.” She told MacDonald in the laid-back interview that she plans to “f— over everybody in the f—ing world over there.” Barr was fired from the network after tweeting, “muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj,” in response to another user’s claim that suggested Jarrett helped former President Barack Obama hide secrets. Barr’s apology for the tweet fell on deaf ears as the network fired her and then took the show she helped create and turned it into something else entirely, killing off her main character despite the fact the show was a huge hit with conservative audiences. https://youtu.be/4KO_gvrf5ZA Roseanne Barr has always been a controversial figure in popular culture so it’s not surprising to see her make out there statements. But in today’s PC climate, you’re not allowed to truly speak your mind because everyone is trying to avoid offending each other. Thus,…

‘Aquaman’ Jason Momoa Tells Chris Pratt Not To Use Plastic Water Bottles; Pratt Responds With ‘You’re Completely Right.’

Liberal Hollywood actors have a tendency to think more highly of themselves than they ought, and nothing points out this inflated ego than one crusader for a cause scolding a fellow actor for doing something that violates their delicate belief system. Which is precisely what happened when “Aquaman” star Jason Momoa took a swipe at his colleague, megastar Chris Pratt for using a plastic water bottle in a post he put up on social media. Here’s more from Daily Wire: Thankfully, however, Pratt diffused the situation with a gracious response, and Momoa followed that with a follow-up post calling Pratt an “inspiration.” “Bro [I] love [you] but [what the f***] on the water bottle,” Momoa complained in the comment section. “No single use plastic. [C]ome on.” The purpose of Pratt’s post was part of a collaboration with Amazon: “You’re probably wondering why I’m standing here, low key flexing, gazing into the distance… well, turns out I’m teaming up with [Amazon] to show you guys everything I use for my workouts, keeping active, and all that fun stuff to get you prepped for 2020,” the movie star captioned the gym photo.   View this post on Instagram   You’re probably wondering why I’m standing here, low key flexing, gazing into the distance… well, turns out I’m teaming up with @amazon to show you guys everything I use for my workouts, keeping active, and all that fun stuff to get you prepped for 2020. #FoundItOnAmazon #Amazon #Ad http://www.amazon.com/chrispratt A post shared by chris pratt (@prattprattpratt) on Dec 3, 2019 at 8:46am PST Pratt responded with, “Aquaman!
