Just How Strong is the Economy Under President Trump? New Economic Indicator has the Answer. Liberals Will Hate This.
You can’t go a single day in this media saturated world we live in without seeing the left spewing some kind of hatred and anger toward President Trump, but whether they like it or not, the commander-in-chief is having a profoundly positive impact on our economy.
That’s right. Despite the hatred, Americans of all backgrounds are enjoying economic growth and prosperity under Trump’s leadership and there’s actual, tangible proof it’s true.
According to statistics from Fox News Research, the number of Americans who are currently working part-time jobs because their hours were cut back at work or because they couldn’t find a full-time job has dropped by over one million since June 2016, during former President Barack Obama’s presidency.
Americans working part time because hours were cut back or they couldn’t find a full-time job:
•June 2010: 8.6M
•June 2011: 8.4M
•June 2012: 8.1M
•June 2013: 8.1M
•June 2014: 7.4M
•June 2015: 6.4M
•June 2016: 5.8M
•June 2017: 5.3M
•June 2018: 4.7M (lowest since Dec 2007)— Fox News Research (@FoxNewsResearch) July 15, 2018
Unemployment currently is hovering around 4% after going as low as 3.8% in May after 223,000 jobs were added to the economy, and record-low unemployment levels have been hit in 2018 for the Hispanic and black communities.
The Hill notes that a CBS News poll from May found that “35 percent of Americans believe Trump’s policies are ‘a great deal’ responsible for the economy’s performance. Another 33 percent said the president is ‘somewhat’ responsible.”
The fact the economy is beginning to thrive shouldn’t come as a great surprise. Trump is a business man who understands what it takes to be successful in the free market. Thus, he’s gone out of his way to pull the federal government out of the private sector bit by bit.
For every new regulation created, Trump’s policy has been to discard two others, thus, piece by piece, these unhealthy restrictions on businesses are being done away with. This means that companies have more profit, which translates into business expansion, the creation of more jobs, and ultimately, of more wealth.
Let’s hope this trend continues throughout the rest of Trump’s time in office. It likely will, which means Trump has a good chance of being reelected.
