Maybe this is some elaborate hoax, or maybe Kanye West just thinks that he’s above the common decency that the world has agreed upon, but something is clearly going on with “Ye”.
The rapper and fashion mogul has suddenly taken a hard turn into antisemitism, spending time with Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes and telling Infowars‘ Alex Jones that he “loves Nazis” while additionally praising Adolf Hitler.
Now, West has been booted from Twitter again, this time for posting an image of a Swastika within the Star of David.
After making antisemitic comments and praising Hitler on Thursday, the rapper Ye has been suspended from Twitter.
The account for Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, read as “account suspended” early Friday.Trending:
Twitter owner Elon Musk said it would be suspended after a post on Ye’s account Thursday night showed an image that appeared to show a swastika inside a Star of David. The post was then blocked by Twitter for violating its rules.
Musk wrote on the platform that the suspension was “for incitement to violence.” The length of the suspension was not immediately clear.
Musk had hoped he wouldn’t have to resort to this:
Musk replied to another user: “I tried my best. Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended.”
The Tesla CEO has long expressed interest in creating an unparalleled “free speech” experience on Twitter, and his suspension of West has some wondering if Musk has bitten off more than he can chew.
