Kimberly Guilfoyle Reportedly Leaving Fox News. The Reason Why Will Make Trump Fans Cheer.

A report that aired on CNN Friday announced that Kimberly Guilfoyle from Fox News would be leaving the news network in order to hit the campaign trail with Donald Trump Jr.

If this is true, it’s likely going to make a lot of Trump fans very happy. It’s being alleged that Guilfoyle will join Trump’s non-profit organization, America First Politics. There was no reference to when this might take place.

CNN reported that a “second source said that donors for the group had been actively trying to recruit” Guilfoyle.

The news was initially reported by Vanity Fair’s Gabriel Sherman on Twitter.

Early Friday morning, Sherman wrote, “Per 3 sources briefed on matter, Don Jr’s girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle is leaving Fox News. More details TK.”

Andrew Surabian, a spokesperson for Trump Jr. tweeted celebratory remarks about the notion of Guilfoyle joining Trump Jr. on the campaign trail.

Surabian wrote, “Having @kimguilfoyle on the trail campaigning with @DonaldJTrumpJr for Republicans this fall is a win for the entire GOP. Kim is one of the most influential voices in the #MAGA movement and knows how to light up a crowd.”

Guilfoyle has yet to release any sort of official statement about the report, nor has she commented on Surabian’s tweet concerning the whole situation, thus it seems there might be some truth to this after all.

However, we’ll have to wait for her official statement to know whether or not the rumors are true.

Fox would be losing a great anchor in Guilfoyle, but the campaign trail could use a little of her influence.
