Left Loses Their Mind Over Non-Trans Actors Taking Transgender Roles, Glenn Close’s Response is Going to Give Them Fits

Published

Actress Glenn Close just gave the LGBTQ community a serious case of the blues — and probably a few ulcers too — after addressing the recent controversy of “cis-gendered” actors taking on roles as transgender characters.

If you remember, just a little while back Scarlett Johansson was bullied by the radical left for taking on the role of a trans individual to such an egregious extent that she actually dropped the role.

Close, responding to the incident, said that any actor can play any kind of character they choose.

While Close understands that transgender actors feel snubbed, she ultimately feels that producers “should have the opportunity to cast the best person.”

“Acting is a craft,” Close said. “I personally think that anyone should be able to play anyone.”

“To me that’s the real thing, that everybody could play everybody. But I understand why they are so passionate, because this hasn’t happened.”

Close, of course, speaks from personal experience being that she played a woman masquerading as a man in the 2011 film “Albert Nobbs” (for which she received an Oscar nomination). She, however, has never claimed the character was transgender, only that she dressed as a man to get ahead in 19th-century society.

The left, who are supposed to be champions of the free expression of art, are now starting to strangle the craft they helped develop thanks to their out of control obsession with political correctness.

In all honesty, the vast majority of Americans would probably be a-okay without their even being any films or television shows about this subject matter to begin with, seeing as how trans folk are an infinitesimally small portion of the overall population. After all, filmmaking is a business and if you want your business to be successful you cater to the largest portion of your customer base.

Film is a beautiful art form that is too often being utilized to spread an agenda that attempts to normalize abnormal and unhealthy lifestyles and the moviegoing public needs to work toward showing people this is completely and totally unacceptable.

CNN Anchor Goes on Insulting Rant Against the Unvaccinated

Oh, spare us the drama, Chris.

When it comes to the heated and prolonged debate that this nation has been having on the subject of vaccines, it is just about impossible to say something that won’t offend somebody. This is the Coke versus Pepsi of the 2020’s; the Yankees/Red Sox of medicine.  There is no grey area, and there is no middle ground. And, if you had any doubt about what side of the argument CNN anchors Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo were on, you needn’t worry any longer. Anchor Don Lemon said, “I still am flummoxed by the misinformation over the vaccine, people refusing to get vaccinated and also refusing to wear masks. Every day seems like it gets worse. And I don’t mean that. I mean the people who are dying, who are actually coming down with it, especially the children… I mean, just heartbreaking.” And then came the insults… Cuomo said, “People seen with significant cases and hospitalizations are getting younger. Part of the metric here is ignorance, but part of it is also arrogance, this misplaced sense of righteous indignation, and resistance that they believe is a false manifestation of freedom. This is not an issue of freedom. Of course, you have freedom to make choices about your own body. Let’s put to the side the irony that so many of these people don’t want to afford that freedom to women. But what we’re saying is, does it mean it’s the right choice? And these suggestions, I think the vaccine is safe, but you have the freedom to take it, but I don’t know that the science lines up, but I don’t know why they’re changing the guidance. These suggestions feel resistance. I think it’s a mistake.” Vaccine hesitancy is believed to account for a majority of the unvaccinated population in America today.

Longrunning Music Festival to Require Vaccines and COVID Tests This Summer

The entire American social order could be shuffled as these sorts of mandates spread.

Whether or not the medical experts or the liberal left are ready to admit it, the fact of the matter is this:  Only about half of this nation is going to willingly receive a COVID-19 vaccination at this time. They have their reasons for abstaining.  Some are simply waiting for the FDA to fully authorize the inoculation, as opposed to releasing it with “emergency use authorization”, as is the case currently. Others are very cognizant of their bodily sovereignty, and they believe that refusing to partake at this time helps to keep a potentially overzealous government from getting any ideas. And, of course, there are those whose ideas are a little wilder, who tell tales of implanted microchips and the mark of the beast. Seeing as the government hasn’t yet had the stomach for mandating the vaccines themselves, there are a number of private companies who are taking matters into their own hands.  This includes one of the most popular music festivals in the United States. The hordes of people expected to descend on Chicago’s Grant Park for the Lollapalooza music festival this week will be required to show proof that they’ve been vaccinated for COVID-19 or tested negative for the disease within the last three days. The four-day festival starts Thursday and is expected to be back at full capacity, with roughly 100,000 daily attendees. After missing last summer because of the threat of the coronavirus, it will easily be Chicago’s largest gathering since the pandemic started, and one of the country’s. The setup will be strict. This year’s festival will look very different than in the past. To gain entry, attendees will have to present their vaccination cards or a printed copy of a negative COVID-19 test that is no more than 72 hours old. That means that anyone with a…
