Liberal Falsehoods Will Lead to Dire Consequences [Opinion]

Spread it like wildfire…

I am extremely disturbed by three massive lies embraced by Democratic presidential candidates and supported by the media:

1. “Mass incarceration”

2. “The cancer of inequality”

3. “Government can fix everything”

The liberal media has spread the notion that America suffers from “mass incarceration,” especially of “people of color” (another liberal term). But look at the facts. What we really suffer from is an epidemic of crime. The problem is crime; the jail time is simply the result. Keeping criminals in jail has cut the crime rate in half. The liberals want to turn them loose on the streets. And whose fault is it that people of color are overrepresented in our prisons? Blacks commit ten times the number of violent crimes as whites and Hispanics combined. The blame lies with the criminals, not the victims.

The Leftist canard that racist police and the justice system deliberately discriminate against African-Americans is not supported by the facts. In 2020, it is ridiculous to suggest that white police are gunning for blacks. “The fault lies primarily with the black criminals,” says political commentator Dennis Prager, “not with a racist society.” The bulk of responsibility, agreed former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, is on African-Americans who “commit murder eight times more per capita than any other group in our society.” Ignoring the obvious connection between black criminality and black incarceration, the Left continues to point a finger at the police. “Numerical disparities result from differences of offending,” said black talk show host Larry Elder, “not because of racism.”

Heather Mac Donald, author of The War on Cops, contends that the bottom line question is: Should African-Americans be held responsible for their own behavior—including criminal behavior, or are they victims of a racist society? Mac Donald concludes that blacks cannot shirk responsibility for their own behavior. The notion that African-Americans are victims of systemic racism may have been true prior to the 1960s, but this is a half-century after the Civil Rights Movement. “White institutional racism has disappeared from our society,” says Scott Greer in No Campus for White Men. “Black Americans now have every opportunity that white Americans have long enjoyed.” During an interview with Mark Levin on Fox TV, African-American author Shelby Steele agreed. “The oppression of black Americans is over with,” he said.

The mass incarceration idea is specious logic and it is dishonest. Got that? DISHONEST!

Now on to the equality issue. Democrats have asserted that all our problems are caused by “the cancer of inequality.” This is nothing less than the old race card in new form. In reality, there is never equality. No two people have the same fingerprint. No two snowflakes are identical. Nature did that, not the Republicans. No system can create or legislate equality. Even Soviet Russia had an official class that enjoyed special privileges. In the capitalist system, at least we have equality of opportunity. If you work hard, you have a shot at the “American Dream.”

Obama scoffed at the “American Dream” idea. He said that if you are successful, “You didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.” The liberals are not satisfied with equality of opportunity—they want equality of outcome. They assert that the American Dream is an entitlement. You don’t have to work for it, it is guaranteed. If you have not achieved the dream, the liberals insist, you must be the victim of the cancer of inequality.

In reality, equality of outcome can never be accomplished without control by a coercive centralized authority. “A free society will not be one of equality,” said James Peron, author of Exploding Population Myths. “Even if we were able to distribute all wealth equally, once the heavy hand of centralized control was removed, inequality would immediately result. The destruction of freedom is the only method for implementing equality of results.”

Liberals are not for equality of opportunity, they want equality of outcome and that is impossible. It is also dishonest. Got it? DISHONEST!

Finally, Bernie Sanders’ idea that big government can fix everything, including supplying jobs, is absurd. Everything government touches turns to crap. We have a really good—not perfect—system that has created a wonderful standard of living for most Americans. If you work hard, you can make a decent living. But if you refuse to take responsibility for yourself, you are making a choice that will lead to dire consequences. As we allow the government to be responsible for more and more of our needs, we relinquish more and more of our independence. Sanders’ preferred alternative to the current system is socialism, where the government takes care of everything. Wherever it has been tried, socialism has resulted in totalitarianism. “While democracy seeks equality in liberty,” wrote Alexis de Toqueville, “socialism seeks equality in restraint and servitude.”

Capitalism means “a competitive system based on free disposal over private property,” said F.A. Hayek. “Only within this system is democracy possible. Where it becomes dominated by a collectivist creed, democracy will inevitably destroy itself.” Poverty and crime are not the children of capitalism, they are the result of personal decisions. The liberals want to dismantle a system that functions in order to create a nanny state. It isn’t working in Europe and it won’t work here. It is dishonest. Got it? DISHONEST!

These are lies, and do not deserve the attention they are getting from a gullible public. People have ceased to think for themselves. They don’t object to being manipulated by opportunists like Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. And that is not dishonest, it is dangerous. Got it? DANGEROUS! Wake up!!!

Dem Senator: Troops Remain In DC Because Trump May Incite Another Capitol Attack

On a scale of 1-10, this quote from a Democrat Senator hits 11 on the side of stupidity. People like Chris Murphy just can’t help themselves. They are literally obsessed with President Donald Trump. Hey, Connecticut – want a do-over on this guy or what? If you live in the Constitution State and said no, you may want to re-evaluate. During an appearance on CNN, Murphy said: “The threat to the country is not over. We still have 5,000 National Guard members surrounding the Capitol complex. Why? Because there are still existing threats, present threats to the security of the Capitol. And so long as Donald Trump is empowered by Senate Republicans, there’s still the chance that he is going to incite another attempt at the Capitol or stir up similar trouble at the state legislative level or in a governor’s election when things don’t go his way. The threat is still very real to American democracy.” From The Daily Wire: Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (CA) added to the already deep divide in our nation during a online meeting with constituents in San Francisco on Saturday, claiming the Trump supporters who breached the Capitol on Wednesday chose their “whiteness over democracy.” Pelosi said, “When that assault was taking place on the Capitol, 3,865 people in our country died of the coronavirus, many of them people of color because of the injustice of it all. The next day, on Thursday, 4,000 people died of the coronavirus. Why? Because decisions were made at the highest level, months before in the Oval Office, of denial, distortion, delay, calling it a ‘hoax.’” She added, “I thought it was going to be an epiphany for those who were in opposition of our democracy to see the light. Instead, it was an epiphany for the…

Report: Biden Forming Committee With Intent of Packing the Supreme Court

Uh oh.

Biden refused to answer on the campaign trail if he would pack the court. He even said the American people don’t deserve to know his position on the matter. But since SCOTUS currently leans 5-4 conservative (though, four of the five justices sometimes side with the liberal minority), Joe is now making it clear that he’s planning to bump up the total from nine. From Politico: The Biden administration is moving forward with the creation of a bipartisan commission to study reforms to the Supreme Court and the federal judiciary. The commission will be housed under the purview of the White House Counsel’s office and filled out with the behind-the-scenes help of the Biden campaign’s lawyer Bob Bauer, who will co-chair the commission. Its specific mandate is still being decided. But, in a signal that the commission is indeed moving ahead, some members have already been selected, according to multiple people familiar with the discussions. CONTINUED: Among those who will be on the commission are Cristina Rodríguez, a professor at Yale Law School and a former deputy assistant attorney general in the Obama Department of Justice, who will join Bauer as co-chair. Caroline Fredrickson, the former president of the American Constitution Society, and Jack Goldsmith, a Harvard Law School professor and a former assistant attorney general in the Bush Department of Justice, will also serve on the commission, those familiar with discussions said. Fredrickson has hinted that she is intellectually supportive of ideas like court expansion. In 2019, she said in an interview with Eric Lesh, the executive director of the LGBT Bar Association and Foundation of Greater New York: “I often point out to people who aren’t lawyers that the Supreme Court is not defined as ‘nine person body’ in the Constitution, and it has changed size many times.”…
