In the coming weeks, we will hear every possible water-based metaphor imaginable, thanks to the democrats’ insistence on their “blue wave”.
The hope among the liberal left is that Donald Trump’s behavior as President has tuned so many Americans off, that there is no realistic chance of the republicans gaining on or maintaining their majority within the halls of Congress. The democrats are convinced, thanks to the echo chambers of the corporate media, that the American people are incensed and furious over the actions of the Trump administration, and that the Great Conservative Awakening of the last few years is now headed out to pasture.
Don’t tell that to Trump fans, who made quite the impression in the lead-up to last night’s Trump rally in Montana.
Much of what the media and the democratic strategists have failed to realize is that, despite and in spite of the so-called “resistance” to the President, Donald Trump is achieving and winning at an incredible rate. This sort of success comes with results, the likes of which can be measured by the amount of people willing to wait in line to catch a glimpse of the man himself.
It’s still uncertain where exactly this “blue wave” is going to make landfall, but it sure as heck doesn’t look like it’ll hit Montana too hard.
