Lindsey Graham Weighs In On Mattis Criticism of Trump, Says He’s ‘Buying Into A Narrative’

South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham weighed in on some rather brutal comments made by former Defense Secretary Jim Mattis about President Donald Trump, stating that he was “buying into a narrative” after slamming the president for his handling of the riots and protests in light of the death of George Floyd.

Graham made an appearance on Fox & Friends where he said that Mattis isn’t understanding, despite the several years he spent serving in his administration, that Trump is the victim of a political blame game.

“The one thing I would tell Gen. Mattis is that you don’t quite understand that from the time President Trump wakes up until he goes to bed, there’s an effort to destroy his presidency. … Nobody wants to send active-duty troops into American cities unless they are invited and unless they are absolutely necessary,” Graham said during the interview.

“But I would say that Gov. Cuomo should have called out the National Guard early on, and I would ask Gen. Mattis to look at the behavior of the politicians in these cities and see if you can find fault with them,” he said, referring to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. “It is so fashionable to blame President Trump for every wrong in America, and he can be a handful, and can he do better? Yes. But the problems we have in America today weren’t caused by Donald Trump, and hopefully, he can help the nation heal some of these problems.”

Mattis claimed that Trump was ordering the National Guard to “violate the constitutional rights of their fellow citizens” so that the president could have a “bizarre photo op” in front of St. John’s Episcopal Church near the White House on Monday. Trump responded to Mattis’s condemnation by tweeting, “Probably the only thing Barack Obama & I have in common is that we both had the honor of firing Jim Mattis, the world’s most overrated General.”

Graham went on to slam Mattis’ comments as “easy, cheap politics,” then went on to note that there are indeed issues in this country that need to be addressed so that black citizens can feel safe during encounters with law enforcement, stating those tensions existed long before President Trump took office.

“To Gen. Mattis, I think you’re missing something here, my friend. You’re missing the fact that the liberal media has taken every event in the last 3 and 1/2 years and laid it at the president’s feet. I’m not saying he’s blameless, but I am saying that you’re buying into a narrative that I think is quite frankly unfair,” the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee said.

Democrat ‘Squad’ Member Omar Wants to Replace July 4th Celebration with Muslim Heritage Month

Minnesota Democrat Ilhan Omar wants to cancel America’s Independence Day holiday and replace it with Muslim Appreciation Month.

Minnesota Democrat Ilhan Omar and some of her “squad” members want to cancel America’s Independence Day holiday and replace it with an event celebrating Muslims who had nothing at all to do with the founding of the nation. “As we continue to see an uptick in anti-Muslim hate, it is important we recognize the resiliency and accomplishments of Muslim Americans with a formal resolution,” Rep. Omar recently claimed. Omar has and several of Dems have introduced a bill that would downplay Independence Day and overshadow it with an entire month of celebrating Islam. It was no mistake that Omar chose July for this anti-American campaign. Of course, July has already been designated National French American Heritage Month, so there is no room in July for celebrating a religion that has zero to do with the U.S.A. But other Democrats agree with Omar. “Muslim-Americans have played a major role in shaping our nation for centuries,” Rep. Andre Carson, exclaimed in his support for Omar’s anti-American idea. “Designating July as Muslim-American Heritage Month is a wonderful opportunity to honor the trailblazers who came before us.” This is an outright lie. Muslims have had no role in the founding of the United States. They had no role in the constitutional era, took no part in the Jacksonian era, did not factor in during the Civil War, Reconstruction, Civil Rights… in short, they did nothing to aid in the building of America. In fact, the only effect they have ever had on America has been negative. They kidnapped sailors causing one of America’s first foreign military excursions during President Jefferson’s era, and they were responsible for the largest terror attack ever perpetrated on American soil in 2001. And today, with their terror-linked advocacy group CAIR, Muslims are working to undermine the United States. Individual…

Big Apple’s De Blasio Makes NYC First In U.S. To Require Proof Of Vaccination For Dining

NYC’s worst mayor ever Bill De Blasio announced a vaccine mandate that didn’t follow science (the mayor can’t spell science).

Mayor Bill De Blasio made a big announcement on Tuesday that could be the launch of vaccine mandates in other jurisdictions all over the country. But if one mayor was going to be first, why not the Socialist De Blasio. De Blasio vaccine mandate The Democrat mayor of America’s largest city announced that beginning on August 16, customers will need to provide proof of vaccination to go to restaurants, go to public entertainment, and work out at gyms. The vaccine requirement will also extend to employees of those venues. Enforcement will not begin until mid-September. Jeff Note: One result of that announcement was that my wife spent much of her day looking for my son’s vaccine card. He just moved into the city, and being a single man in his 20s, he is very dependent on eateries for nourishment (he had it all the time). The move is to force more people in NYC to “get the jab.” Customers and workers will have to show proof that they’ve had at least one dose of a vaccine under plans to pressure New Yorkers to get a shot. The policy will go into effect on August 16, but inspections and enforcement won’t begin until September 13, the week that the city’s public schools reopen for the fall. The announcement came just 24 hours after de Blasio broke from Governor Andrew Cuomo and said he would not bring back an indoor mask mandate in the city. De Blasio said Tuesday: ‘If you want to participate in our society fully, you’ve got to get vaccinated. It’s time.’ He added: ‘This is a miraculous place full of wonders, and if you’re vaccinated, all of that is gonna open up to you.’ Here is Mayor de Blasio making the announcement: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvCE_XZ9i0U Democrat politicians and their hacks…
