LONG WAY FROM ROCK BOTTOM: Biden's Approval Rating Tanks Again
One year into the Biden presidency, and it certainly doesn’t appear as though the 46th President of these United States has any plan to right the ship.
Biden, along with Vice President Kamala Harris, have been characterized as being asleep at the wheel of the nation, with the Commander in Chief himself appearing to be truly reluctant to govern at all. (The Democrats did have to coax him into running in the first place, so perhaps we should not be surprised).
This unwillingness to make change has Americans brutally punishing the President in the polls.
President Biden faced criticism from over soaring gas prices, inflation and his policies as his approval rating sank to 33% in a recent poll.
“I give him a minus 10,” Stuart, of Tucson, said when asked to grade Biden on a scale of 1-10.
“If you like inflation, you like illegal criminals coming across the border, if you like where he killed the gasoline,” he continued.
Arland, of San Francisco, gave Biden a seven and said, “I think he’s got his heart in the right place, but his policies don’t have that much effect.”
And then, succinctly:
Sanjoy, from Arizona, also gave the president a seven, but said, “I literally have no idea what he’s doing.”
Other polling has also suggested that the Democratic Party is seeking to replace Biden on the 2024 ticket, despite the President’s assurances that he plans to run again.
