Marine's GoPro Video of Afghan Withdrawal Captures Chaos That Biden Admin Never Wanted You to See

In a recent column, Michael Reagan, commentary writer and son of former President Ronald Reagan, asked, “Is Joe Biden’s brain OK?”

No, Michael, it’s not.

The evacuation from Afghanistan that President Joe Biden told us was a spectacular success was obviously anything but.

Although military photographers recorded hours of video of the chaotic scenes at the Kabul airport following the collapse of the Afghan government last month, it was carefully edited for public consumption.

The Biden administration has a knack for crafting just the right “perception” to convey to the citizenry, as we learned from the president’s leaked phone call with former Afghan President Ashraf Ghani this week.

The following video, recorded by Marine Cpl. Mike Markland on a GoPro camera, provides a more accurate version of what was endured by Afghan citizens as well as U.S. servicemen and women.

According to Task & Purpose, Markland posted the video to Instagram with the caption: “I hope this answers questions but also provokes you to ask more.

“To my brothers and sisters who were there I made this for you and your family. When you have the lack of ability to explain all that happened in those two weeks, show them this. Stand tall and wear the last two weeks on your chest.”

“I haven’t found a way to explain it with any words I know,” Markland wrote, attempting to describe “two straight weeks of worsening conditions.”

“Many of us joined because we liked fighting and were good with adversity and conflict,” he explained. “Two weeks in Kabul at [the Hamid Karzai International Airport] put all of that to the test. I can’t say enough how proud I am of the Marines I serve with.”

“Odds were stacked against us,” Markland wrote. “Circumstances undeniably out of our control, but we never let it deter our tenacious approach towards our mission at hand.”

He added that “adversity and challenges happened 24/7.”

“Almost all had no predesignated plan. We did our absolute best and remained stoic through the sleepless nights and round-the-clock work with minimal food and water. Staying up for two or more days straight at a time grinding but remaining intensely vigilant.”

Although the video is no longer available on Instagram, Task & Purpose shared it in an article entitled, “The Pentagon’s filtered version of the Kabul rescue mission looks nothing like what really went down.”

The most startling parts of the video are the scenes recorded at the airport gate.

Throngs of people push and shove to get into the airport to escape what for many of them would no doubt be certain death at the hands of the Taliban. One Afghan man is seen stepping on shoulders in the crowd to get to the gate. A baby is held up above the mob amid terrified screams.

As the dust settles on the turmoil of the past several weeks, it’s become clear that many of the over 100,000 Afghans evacuated were not translators or allies.

This is due to the Biden administration’s issuance of blank visa forms. The forms contained no serial number, no barcode and no name — and they were sent to thousands of people. Predictably, they were then copied and used by thousands of ineligible applicants.

It’s entirely possible that these forms fell into the hands of terrorists who posed as refugees and hopped aboard U.S.-bound flights.

Biden and administration officials have tried to paint the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan as orderly and secure. They’d like Americans to think it was perfectly executed.

Thanks to a brave Marine, we know this isn’t true. The scenes captured on his video camera show that the president and his lieutenants lied to the world.

Biden Caught in Stunning Moment of Elitism, Blatantly Ignores Indoor Mask Mandate in High-End Restaurant

If you want to know what someone believes, don’t ask them: Watch what they do.

Human beings are often hypocritical and deceitful. Sometimes we don’t even know what we believe, deep down. But if you watch someone’s actions, that’ll tell you all you need to know.

Joe Biden and all of his Democrat cohorts, for instance, may say they believe in the efficacy of mask mandates. If you watch their actions, however, it appears that they believe the exact opposite.

As much was revealed recently when Biden couldn’t be bothered to follow his own masking rules during a visit to an expensive D.C. restaurant on Saturday night.

The first lady was also seen maskless, despite D.C.’s strict mask mandate.

This is the same man who, in the past, has insisted that those of us who don’t wear masks are being bad Americans.

While Biden’s hypocrisy is outrageous, it’s not all that surprising.

After all, throughout the pandemic, various Democratic leaders and politicians have been caught violating their own COVID mandates.

On Nov. 6, California Gov. Gavin Newsom and his wife were caught attending a birthday party for one of his political advisers that violated the state’s rule prohibiting “gatherings that include more than 3 households.”

Similarly, Newsom’s fellow Democrat, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, was also photographed at a dinner in May, breaking her state’s rule requiring Michigan diners to not gather in groups of six or more.

Even Speaker of the House Nanci Pelosi was caught receiving an illegal hair treatment in San Francisco after the state’s COVID restrictions had banned salons from seeing customers.

And this most recent example is far from Biden’s first offense.

Only a day earlier, Biden gave a speech at the University of Connecticut and forgot to bring a mask. He then began asking around for someone to grab him one. In a show of utter unawareness, he then wiped his mouth and began shaking hands.

What the actions of all these Democrats tell us is what they really think about COVID guidelines.

They might say different, but to them, all of this — mask mandates, vaccine mandates, economic lockdowns, etc. — is nothing more than political theater.

Protesters Sabotage Olympic Ceremony with a Strong Message: ‘No Genocide Games’

Western Journal

On Monday, Olympic organizers held the traditional torch lighting ceremony for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games, which are set to be held in Beijing, China. However, the event was overshadowed by protesters raising concerns about China’s human rights violations.

According to The Washington Post, three protesters sneaked past police and approached the ceremony, which was being held at the Temple of Hera in Ancient Olympia, Greece.

One of the protesters held a flag of Tibet, an autonomous region currently occupied by China. Meanwhile, two others held a banner that read “No Genocide Games.”

The Post said the protesters were part of Free Tibet, a human rights group based in London, England, dedicated to ending China’s occupation of the autonomous region. In a news article on its website, the group identified the protesters as Jason Leith, Chemi Lhamo and Fern MacDougal.

In a video posted to Free Tibet’s Twitter account, the protesters can be heard shouting against the Beijing 2022 Olympics as actresses light the Olympic torch during the ceremony.

In a separate Tweet, the group showed security apprehending the protesters for what it said were peaceful protests.

According to the Associated Press, the protesters were “thrown to the ground by police and detained.”

Free Tibet’s website said four additional Tibetan activists were arrested before the event after sitting in cars on a road near the entrance to the torch lighting ceremony.

The group said it is “calling for a full global boycott of the Beijing Olympics, in response to human rights atrocities committed against Tibetans, Uyghurs and Hong Kongers.”

“How can Beijing be allowed to host the Olympics given that they are committing a genocide against the Uyghurs?” one protester said in the above video.

In a June 2021 article, BBC reported China had been accused of holding over one million Uyghurs in so-called “re-education camps” against their will during the last few years. In addition, the United States accused China of committing genocide by “forcibly mass sterilizing Uyghur women to suppress the population.”

China denied these allegations and said the camps were necessary as a counter-terrorism measure. It also claimed in 2019 it had completely emptied all of its re-education camps, a claim BBC said was in direct contrast to testimony from people in the region.

Despite the human rights accusations against China, the International Olympic Committee has insisted the Games should remain politically neutral.

“Only this political neutrality ensures that the Olympic Games can stand above and beyond the political differences that exist in our times,” IOC President Thomas Bach said, according to the Post.

Do you think China should be allowed to host the 2022 Olympic Games?

“The Olympic Games cannot address all the challenges in our world. But they set an example for a world where everyone respects the same rules and one another.”

When the Summer Games were previously held in Beijing in 2008, protesters also disrupted the torch lighting ceremony to speak in favor of democracy, Reuters said.

More protests are reportedly scheduled for Tuesday, when the flame will be ceremoniously handed off to organizers from Beijing.
