Karen Waters will earn $200,000 from her mother’s campaign.

From Free Beacon:

The daughter of Rep. Maxine Waters (D., Calif.) will collect more than $200,000 from her mother’s campaign after its debts are paid off for leading a lucrative slate mailer operation, Federal Election Commission filings show.

Karen Waters has pulled in hefty payments from the campaign to run a slate mailer operation after the FEC issued an advisory opinion in October 2004 allowing Waters to run the operation from the Citizens for Waters, her mother’s campaign committee. Prior to 2006, Karen ran the arrangement through LA Vote, a state committee in California.

Karen is in charge of slate mailers, or endorsement mailers, in which candidates pay Rep. Waters’s campaign to appear on mailers that are sent to more than 200,000 residents in the South Central Los Angeles area, where Waters holds a good amount of clout. The mailers contain a sample ballot and quotes of support from Waters.

As of the end of the 2016 election cycle, Karen and her firm Progressive Connections had been paid more than $600,000 in campaign funds from the committee for the running the slate mailers since 2006, the Washington Free Beacon previously reported.

MSNBC, like most other cable news networks, serves as the communications branch of the Democrat Party.

During an interview with Joy-Ann Reid, California Congresswoman Maxine Waters scolded President Trump and told him to keep his mouth shut over the state’s wildfires.

Over 20 people have died.

Trump blames the problem on forest mismanagement.

Waters, who will likely become the chair of the Financial Services Committee when Democrats take over the House in January, claimed that the president and GOP fear her because she’s a “strong, black woman.”

Waters: That’s the opposition talking about what would happen if this strong, black woman Maxine Waters is the chair of the Financial Services Committee.

Waters: “They’ve never seen anybody like me before. There’s never been a woman in the history of this country that’s been the chairperson of the Financial Services Committee, and certainly never a black woman.

Waters: “The president of the United States attempts to talk about things that he has no knowledge of. He doesn’t even understand what goes into fighting a fire, and for him to come out talking about poor management is just another indication that the president is not willing to learn anything. He does not really care about others, and he’s on the attack all of the time. We wish he would keep his mouth shut. California does not need him to be talking about things that he does not know.

Waters: “We need him to bring people together, to be concerned about the safety of our families. So, again, it’s just another Trump who is again reaching in, talking about things that he doesn’t understand, and we need him to just stay away from us.

Disabled Air Force veteran James Berrie wasn’t expecting what happened to him. All he wanted to do was vote.

Instead, he couldn’t.

MSNBC had set up shop in a handicapped parking spot and was unwilling to move in order to accomodate him.

From Daily Wire:

A disabled Air Force veteran says an MSNBC news crew blocked his way into a polling site in Houston when it parked in a handicapped parking spot.

“Went to vote, and found this waiting for us,” James Berrie, who has multiple sclerosis, wrote on Facebook. “The only van accessible spot and they’re filming in it. We asked them to move, pointed out how it was wrong, then went to vote, because it takes time to load up. But came out and still there. Not even packing up, still getting ready for their shot.”

MSNBC reporter Mariana Atencio apologized:

President Trump’s overall approval rating hit 50%.

That’s quite high, considering the majority of news coverage of the commander-in-chief is negative.

An even more interesting statistic should have Democrats very worried.

Black support for Trump has now hit a whopping 40%.

Beto Seemingly Calls for WAR Over Mueller Report Secrecy

The left just had to find some way to make the idea of transparency seem sensational, didn’t they?

Beto O'Rourke

As the nation patiently awaits the findings of the Special Counsel report, a debate is raging. On both sides of the aisle, we are hearing that transparency is key.  Rod Rosenstein, the Deputy Attorney General and self-proclaimed “heat shield” for Robert Mueller, has expressed his concerns over tarnishing the reputations of those not accused of a crime. The rest of America seems fairly well convinced, and rightly so, that there should be unfettered access to the report. And while this is undoubtedly a widely felt sentiment, the radical left just had to find a way to make it seem sensational. Cue 2020 presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke: “Republicans and Democrats should do whatever they can to make sure their constituents, the American people, can read that report, form their own judgement, make their own decisions, and that the truth comes out,” O’Rourke said at a campaign stop in South Carolina Friday. O’Rourke warned that America may not see another year if details of Russian interference in the 2016 election included in the Mueller report are not made public, saying, “This is an unprecedented attack on this country and on our democracy, and we are owed the facts. And if we do not receive them, 243 years in, there’s nothing that guarantees us a 244th.” O’Rourke is undoubtedly suggesting that a Civil War or revolution could take place over something that everyone already wants. Not only have a number of democrats parroted the “everyone should get to see everything” line, but they’ve done so in complete agreement with Trump-appointed Attorney General Bill Barr. For Beto to go nuclear in this statement is beyond bizarre, and sounds more like a coaxed soundbite than his true sentiment on the subject.

Mueller Report Findings Expected by Congress Sunday

Monday morning’s water cooler chit chat has already been decided.

Is our long national nightmare actually over?  Well, that depends on who you ask today. For many, the completion of the Mueller report on Friday, without any additional indictments being suggest by the Special Counsel, was a huge win for President Trump.  It meant that there wasn’t evidence sufficient to bring charges against the President…perhaps. We should remember that the DOJ’s longstanding belief was that a sitting President could not be indicted. On the left side of the aisle, however, a tense wait has begun, with the Attorney General expected to hand off a summation of Mueller’s findings to Congress any minute. Attorney General William Barr was expected to release his first summary of Mueller’s findings on Sunday, people familiar with the process said, on what lawmakers anticipated could be a day of reckoning in the two-year probe into President Donald Trump and Russian efforts to elect him. Since receiving the report Friday, Barr has been deciding how much of it Congress and the public will see. Of course, for some democrats, this simply wouldn’t cut it. “I suspect that we’ll find those words of transparency to prove hollow, that in fact they will fight to make sure that Congress doesn’t get this underlying evidence,” Rep. Adam Schiff of California, chairman of the House intelligence committee, said on ABC’s “This Week.” His plan: Ask for information and if that’s denied, “subpoena. If subpoenas are denied, we will haul people before the Congress. And yes, we will prosecute in court as necessary to get this information.” For now, we will just wait and see. We do know one thing for certain:  Monday morning around the water coolor is going to be a happenin’ spot.
