Not very subtle, Max. Where’s the Secret Service?

California Congresswoman Maxine Waters just doesn’t care anymore.

A lot of Democrats don’t, actually.

According to Waters in a not-so-subtle threat, it’s time to “get rid” of “despicable” President Trump.

We must understand that the Fed does not work for the president of the United States. The Fed creates monetary policy based on what’s good for the economy and, of course, I may disagree from time to time with their decisions but we must not interfere. They must be independent. Right now Powell is saying that they’re dealing with inflation, but they don’t work for the president. The president can’t fire them. All that the president can do when he opens his mouth is rattle the markets. As a matter of fact, the volatility that you see in the markets is caused by the kinds of statements that this president will make causing more uncertainty.

I’m not surprised that the president is doing this because I’m not surprised at anything that the president may do or say. I have warned America from the beginning that this president is not worthy, he cannot be trusted, he’s a liar, He’s despicable. Any time he steps in, opens his mouth, tries to interfere with one of our agencies I’m not shocked but the American people continue to be shocked. The Republicans are intimidated and not standing by their responsibility for oversight and dealing with this president. So, yes, no, Powell does not work for him. The attorney general should not work for him, but he thinks that they all should be working for him and not for the American people. We need to get rid of this president.

Karen Waters will earn $200,000 from her mother’s campaign.

From Free Beacon:

The daughter of Rep. Maxine Waters (D., Calif.) will collect more than $200,000 from her mother’s campaign after its debts are paid off for leading a lucrative slate mailer operation, Federal Election Commission filings show.

Karen Waters has pulled in hefty payments from the campaign to run a slate mailer operation after the FEC issued an advisory opinion in October 2004 allowing Waters to run the operation from the Citizens for Waters, her mother’s campaign committee. Prior to 2006, Karen ran the arrangement through LA Vote, a state committee in California.

Karen is in charge of slate mailers, or endorsement mailers, in which candidates pay Rep. Waters’s campaign to appear on mailers that are sent to more than 200,000 residents in the South Central Los Angeles area, where Waters holds a good amount of clout. The mailers contain a sample ballot and quotes of support from Waters.

MSNBC, like most other cable news networks, serves as the communications branch of the Democrat Party.

During an interview with Joy-Ann Reid, California Congresswoman Maxine Waters scolded President Trump and told him to keep his mouth shut over the state’s wildfires.

Over 20 people have died.

Trump blames the problem on forest mismanagement.

Waters, who will likely become the chair of the Financial Services Committee when Democrats take over the House in January, claimed that the president and GOP fear her because she’s a “strong, black woman.”

Waters: That’s the opposition talking about what would happen if this strong, black woman Maxine Waters is the chair of the Financial Services Committee.

Waters: “They’ve never seen anybody like me before. There’s never been a woman in the history of this country that’s been the chairperson of the Financial Services Committee, and certainly never a black woman.

Waters: “The president of the United States attempts to talk about things that he has no knowledge of. He doesn’t even understand what goes into fighting a fire, and for him to come out talking about poor management is just another indication that the president is not willing to learn anything. He does not really care about others, and he’s on the attack all of the time. We wish he would keep his mouth shut. California does not need him to be talking about things that he does not know.

Waters: “We need him to bring people together, to be concerned about the safety of our families. So, again, it’s just another Trump who is again reaching in, talking about things that he doesn’t understand, and we need him to just stay away from us.

Disabled Air Force veteran James Berrie wasn’t expecting what happened to him. All he wanted to do was vote.

Instead, he couldn’t.

MSNBC had set up shop in a handicapped parking spot and was unwilling to move in order to accomodate him.

From Daily Wire:

A disabled Air Force veteran says an MSNBC news crew blocked his way into a polling site in Houston when it parked in a handicapped parking spot.

“Went to vote, and found this waiting for us,” James Berrie, who has multiple sclerosis, wrote on Facebook. “The only van accessible spot and they’re filming in it. We asked them to move, pointed out how it was wrong, then went to vote, because it takes time to load up. But came out and still there. Not even packing up, still getting ready for their shot.”

MSNBC reporter Mariana Atencio apologized:

President Trump’s overall approval rating hit 50%.

That’s quite high, considering the majority of news coverage of the commander-in-chief is negative.

An even more interesting statistic should have Democrats very worried.

Black support for Trump has now hit a whopping 40%.

Protests And Riots Now Being Blamed On Coronavirus Shutdowns

Published

on

All of the violence, rioting, and looting that is exploding across the country due to the death of George Floyd is now being blamed on another set of factors that might help explain why things are so intense. According to psychologists and pandemic researchers, things are so bad right now due to everyone being cooped up for months during the coronavirus lockdowns that had taken place across the United States earlier this Spring. Historian John Berry, who has written numerous books on the subject of past pandemics, said, “I do think the pandemic aggravated things.” Here’s more from The Washington Examiner: Tension built up during the lockdowns due to the massive joblessness — especially for those making less than $40,000 a year, African Americans disproportionately getting sick from the virus, and people being shut in the house for months, Berry said. “One can’t understate the role of pandemic in the protests,” said Alec MacGillis, former Baltimore Sun reporter, on Twitter. “For weeks, people have been told to stay home. They’ve had no social contact with large groups, which humans crave. Now, they can.” If you take a look at Minnesota, where the incident with Floyd took place, folks had been social distancing there for almost two full months. There were no bars, no hair salons, or restaurants or movie theaters open during that time. In fact, they weren’t allowed to open until the beginning of June, and even then there are a lot of restrictions still in effect. “No doubt in my mind that the pandemic has eroded people’s capacity to tolerate additional frustration and anxiety,” Dr. Kenneth Eisold, a practicing psychoanalyst, told the Washington Examiner. “I also suspect that the riots reflect an unconscious protest against the lockdown.” Dr. Joe Pierre, a health science clinical professor with UCLA, said…

Rod Rosenstein Says If He Knew Then, What He Knows Now, He Wouldn’t Have Signed Carter Page FISA Warrant

Published

on

Former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has come out and admitted that if he possessed the knowledge he now has, back before signing the FISA warrant for Carter Page, he would never have signed it. Well, you know what they say. Hindsight is 20/20. Everything had a tendency to look clearer when you reflect back on it after the fact. The problem, of course, is that by then it is too late. This is why it is important to operate from a set of well-grounded principles that will guide you when things seem unclear. Just a thought. Here’s more on this from The Washington Examiner: Rosenstein, who also appointed special counsel Robert Mueller while overseeing the Russia investigation after then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself, testified in a public session with the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday that he was unaware of the serious flaws with the Page FISA process that were uncovered by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz. “If you knew then what you know now, would you have signed the warrant application?” Graham asked. Rosenstein replied: “No, I would not.” Graham went on to ask if the reason why he wouldn’t have signed it looking back on it now was because Mr. Horowitz found that exculpatory information was withheld from the court. “Among other reasons, yes sir,” Rosenstein said. The report from Horowitz slammed the Justice Department and the FBI for what it called “17 significant errors and ommissions” related directly to the FISA warrants against Page in 2016 and 2017, along with the bureau’s heavy reliance upon the dossier put together by British spy Christopher Steele, which is also considered to be flawed. Steele was commissioned to put together the package containing his “research” by Fusion GPS, which was funded by Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign,…
