McConnell Plans To Send Painful Reminder Out On Wednesday As Trump Impeached

Published

on

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is planning to send a rather harsh reminder to Democrats on Wednesday as the House votes on the articles of impeachment, that elections have consequences.

This reminder comes in the form of the Senate confirming 13, yes 13, judges to lifetime appointments on federal courts.

Here’s more details from Daily Wire:

The Senate Cloakroom, which is controlled by the Republicans, tweeted: “Under the regular order, at 10:30 am, on Wednesday, December 18th, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #382, Matthew Walden McFarland, of Ohio, to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of Ohio.”

The Senate Cloakroom continued: “Absent a unanimous consent agreement, two roll call votes (cloture/confirmation) will occur every two hours during tomorrow’s session of the Senate on the District Judge nominations (13 District Judges) that Leader McConnell filed cloture on during Monday’s session of the Senate.”

Bloomberg Law provides a list of the judges that are going to be confirmed:

Matthew McFarland for the Southern District of Ohio;
Anuraag Singhal for the Southern District of Florida;
Karen Marston for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania;
Daniel Traynor for the District of North Dakota;
John M. Gallagher for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania;
Bernard Maurice Jones II for the Western District of Oklahoma;
Mary Kay Vyskocil for the Southern District of New York;
Kea Whetzal Riggs for the District of New Mexico;
Lewis J. Liman for the Southern District of New York;
Gary Richard Brown for the Eastern District of New York;
Robert J. Colville for the Western District of Pennsylvania;
Jodi Dishman for the Western District of Oklahoma;
Stephanie Dawkins Davis for the Eastern District of Michigan.

The confirmations come as Democrats have begun the process of voting to impeach President Donald Trump in what has amounted to a partisan effort to boot him from office over flimsy claims of obstruction of Congress and abuse of power.

McConnell has already stated this week he’s going to shut down any attempts the Democrats make to remove Trump from office because the Democratic Party lacks the evidence to convict Trump in a Senate trial.

Dr. Anthony Fauci Makes Prediction On When He Thinks COVID-19 Vaccine Will Be Ready

Published

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the country’s leading expert on infectious diseases, recently stated that he believes a vaccine for the coronavirus will be fully tested, prepared, and effective to use by the end of the year. Whether or not folks on the left want to hear this is another story. If you look at the major breakthroughs that have happened lately in regard to the virus, it seems as if Democrats actually want this pandemic and the restrictions with it, to stick around for a lot longer. This probably has something to do with the presidential election in November. via Daily Wire: “I would still put my money on November, December,” Fauci said at a Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute panel, CNN reported. Fauci, an immunologist and director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases who serves on the White House Coronavirus Task Force, said testing a vaccine requires about 150 subjects to actually get the virus. “Right now, the trials are over two thirds enrolled – really close to full enrollment on one, and over full enrollment on the other,” he said. “It really depends on where the sites are and how many infections there are in a site. So you could get your answer sooner, or you can get your answer a bit later.” “Fauci said his projection of November or December is informed by calculations based on where the clinical trial sites are in their studies,” CNN said in its report. President Trump stated earlier in the week that new plans are underway from the Department of Defense working in tandem with health agencies, to ensure that every single American can get the vaccine for free, once it is approved by the Food and Drug Administration. Agencies in the government are eyeing January as the target date…

As November Election Draws Near, NRA Reveals It Raised More In August Than Any Month In 2016

Published

on

The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund, which is a political action committee that is associated with the pro-second amendment organization, ended up raising more than $1.7 million in the month of August, completely annihilating its August 2016 totals and raising more cash than any month ahead of the election held that year. One has to wonder how much the riots, looting, and violence that has spread across the country has had to do with that? You know, the fact that people are now wide awake to the reality that the left isn’t going to be there to help them or manage the chaos exploding around them, is an effective promotion of the importance of gun rights. via Fox News: The $1,725,700 the organization raised in August is almost $240,000 higher than its best month of 2016, March, when it raised just under $1.5 million. The NRA’s PAC pulled in $1.4 million in August 2016. “The NRA is grateful to our members and gun owners for a record-breaking August,” NRA spokeswoman Amy Hunter told Fox News. “Americans step up when their rights are in danger, and they’re stepping up now because they know the stakes of this election couldn’t be higher.” Hunter added that its August fundraising total “is proof that people want to protect their gun rights and their right to self-defense, and that they trust and depend on the NRA to protect these rights and freedoms.” This massive increase in fundraising is happening as the November election, which is a showdown between President Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden, draws nearer and nearer. Both individuals have very different stances on this issue, with Trump being very pro-gun and Biden being the polar opposite. The August numbers pulled in by the NRA are the highest it has brought…
