Meghan McCain Drops Bomb on Liberal Media, Says They Hate Republicans, America
Meghan McCain, daughter of Sen. John McCain and one of the hosts on “The View,” decided she has had enough of the lies pouring out of the liberal media, so she took some time on the show to absolutely shred them to pieces.
McCain called out left-wing news outlets for the obvious bias in their coverage and slammed them for hating Republicans, Trump supporters, and middle America.
McCain began by noting that comedienne Michelle Wolf’s off-color jokes and comments at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner only served as a “gift” to those who support President Donald Trump.

Calling out CNN’s Jim Acosta by name, McCain said, “There’s already this implication when you hear people like Jim Acosta saying Trump supporters, their brains don’t, whatever the quote is, their ‘elevators don’t go to the top floor.’”
Acosta conducted a panel discussion last week with other White House correspondents and told Variety “the problem is that people around the country don’t know [Trump’s behavior is] an act.”
“They’re not in on the act and they take what he says very seriously. They take attacks from Sean Spicer and Sarah Sanders, and what they do to us on a daily basis, very seriously. They don’t have all their faculties and in some cases their elevator might not hit all floors.”
Wow. Could this man be any more condescending? Assuming that people are supporting Trump because they are stupid or crazy seems pretty unprofessional for someone who is supposed to be keeping the masses informed.
Acosta later claimed his words were being twisted up to push a narrative, but the meaning behind his statement is pretty difficult to miss or take the wrong way.
McCain went on to speak a bit more about the media during the show:
“There’s an idea that the media — especially people in D.C. — hate the Trump administration, hate Republicans, hate the people in the middle of the country,” she added. “And when you’re sitting there — and by the way, Jonathan Karl, Andrea Mitchell, Mika Brzezinski, these are not people I would certainly not call conservatives, or people in my vein — came out and criticized the [White House Correspondents’ Dinner] as well.”
Whoopi Goldberg was not too pleased with McCain’s comments saying she “took issue with you [McCain] saying that we hate the middle of the country.”
