Meghan McCain Drops Bomb on Liberal Media, Says They Hate Republicans, America

Published

on

Meghan McCain, daughter of Sen. John McCain and one of the hosts on “The View,” decided she has had enough of the lies pouring out of the liberal media, so she took some time on the show to absolutely shred them to pieces.

McCain called out left-wing news outlets for the obvious bias in their coverage and slammed them for hating Republicans, Trump supporters, and middle America.

McCain began by noting that comedienne Michelle Wolf’s off-color jokes and comments at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner only served as a “gift” to those who support President Donald Trump.

“I will say, this is a big gift to Trump supporters,” McCain began. “Seventy-seven percent of Americans — 77 — believe that the national television and newspaper media outlets report fake news, [and] 89 percent of Republicans believe that.”

Calling out CNN’s Jim Acosta by name, McCain said, “There’s already this implication when you hear people like Jim Acosta saying Trump supporters, their brains don’t, whatever the quote is, their ‘elevators don’t go to the top floor.’”

Acosta conducted a panel discussion last week with other White House correspondents and told Variety “the problem is that people around the country don’t know [Trump’s behavior is] an act.”

“They’re not in on the act and they take what he says very seriously. They take attacks from Sean Spicer and Sarah Sanders, and what they do to us on a daily basis, very seriously. They don’t have all their faculties and in some cases their elevator might not hit all floors.”

Wow. Could this man be any more condescending? Assuming that people are supporting Trump because they are stupid or crazy seems pretty unprofessional for someone who is supposed to be keeping the masses informed.

Acosta later claimed his words were being twisted up to push a narrative, but the meaning behind his statement is pretty difficult to miss or take the wrong way.

McCain went on to speak a bit more about the media during the show:

“There’s an idea that the media — especially people in D.C. — hate the Trump administration, hate Republicans, hate the people in the middle of the country,” she added. “And when you’re sitting there — and by the way, Jonathan Karl, Andrea Mitchell, Mika Brzezinski, these are not people I would certainly not call conservatives, or people in my vein — came out and criticized the [White House Correspondents’ Dinner] as well.”

Whoopi Goldberg was not too pleased with McCain’s comments saying she “took issue with you [McCain] saying that we hate the middle of the country.”

College Student Receives Criminal Charges For Uttering Racial Slurs While Walking By Student Apartments

Published

on

Two students who attend the University of Connecticut have been arrested and charged with hate crimes after they were recorded walking outside student apartments saying racial slurs, according to a report released by the Washington Post. Jarred Karal and Ryan Mucaj, both 21-year-old white students, have been charged with the misdemeanor of ridicule on account of creed, religion, color, denomination, nationality or race for violating a state statute concerning hate crimes. Here’s more from TheBlaze: The students also face potential discipline from the school, even possible expulsion, for violating the student code of conduct, UConn President Thomas C. Katsouleas said in a statement. “It is supportive of our core values to pursue accountability, through due process, for an egregious assault on our community that has caused considerable harm,” Katsouleas said. Karal and Mucaj, and a third unnamed student who was not charged, were walking by student housing and playing a game in which they yelled offensive words. According to the incident report, Karal and Mucaj began saying “n****” as they walked by student housing, and someone in the apartments began recording. The video captured of the incident went viral earlier this month, which sparked outrage among students and faculty. The video eventually made it into the hands of law enforcement. Please email [email protected] We will not tolerate racist behavior on this campus ✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽✊🏼 https://twitter.com/naacpuconn/status/1182821535670648833 The university NAACP has asked the school to take action against the students involved in the incident in order to make an example of them and allow other students to know that such behavior is unacceptable. Here’s a snippet from a letter the NAACP wrote to the university: “If the university does not adequately address and handle these occurrences of racism appropriately, it will create…
