Mike Lindell Returns to Twitter...Momentarily

The purchase of Twitter by Tesla owner Elon Musk has set the political world ablaze…and the liberal left’s hair on fire.  There fear is that Musk, an outspoken advocate for the First Amendment, will take the influential platform back to its free-speech heyday, where conservatives could garner just as much attention as their left-leaning counterparts.

But the transition into Musk’s ownership is not yet complete, and there are still some within the Republican social media sphere who haven’t been welcomed back to the platform, including MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell was banned from Twitter for a second time after attempting to use a new account to access the social media platform.

Lindell set up a new account Sunday on Twitter under @MikeJLindell. The account was quickly suspended.

Twitter said Monday that Lindell’s new account was permanently suspended for violating its rules on ban evasion.

Lindell was previously banned from the social media site for his views on the 2020 election – a hot button topic that saw many left-leaning Silicon Valley sites turn toward “Big Brother” style speech controls.

Then-President Donald Trump was similarly banned from Twitter near the end of his first term, and has stated that he would not return to the platform even if new owner Elon Musk were to allow it.
