Mother Dies of Vaccine-Induced Blood Clot, Obituary Gets 'Misleading' Label When Posted to Twitter

Western Journal

Jessica Berg Wilson’s obituary described the Seattle woman as “an exceptionally healthy and vibrant 37-year-old young mother with no underlying health conditions” who “died unexpectedly on Sep. 7 from COVID-19 Vaccine-Induced Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia (VITT).”

The obituary on Legacy.com continued: “Jessica fully embraced motherhood, sharing her passion for life with her daughters. Jessica’s motherly commitment was intense, with unwavering determination to nurture her children to be confident, humble, responsible, and to have concern and compassion for others with high morals built on Faith.”

“Jessica’s greatest passion was to be the best mother possible for Bridget and Clara. Nothing would stand in her way to be present in their lives,” it said. “During the last weeks of her life, however, the world turned dark with heavy-handed vaccine mandates. Local and state governments were determined to strip away her right to consult her wisdom and enjoy her freedom.

“She had been vehemently opposed to taking the vaccine, knowing she was in good health and of a young age and thus not at risk for serious illness. In her mind, the known and unknown risks of the unproven vaccine were more of a threat.

“But, slowly, day by day, her freedom to choose was stripped away. Her passion to be actively involved in her children’s education—which included being a Room Mom—was, once again, blocked by government mandate. Ultimately, those who closed doors and separated mothers from their children prevailed.

“It cost Jessica her life. It cost her children the loving embrace of their caring mother. And it cost her husband the sacred love of his devoted wife. It cost God’s Kingdom on earth a very special soul who was just making her love felt in the hearts of so many.”

This very sad story was made even worse by the Twitter Police.

When a Twitter user shared Wilson’s obituary on Friday, adding in the caption that she had not wanted to get vaccinated, the post was slapped with a warning label.

“This Tweet is misleading,” it said. “Find out why health officials consider COVID-19 vaccines safe for most people.”

It provided a link so users could “find out more,” adding, “This Tweet can’t be replied to, shared or liked.”

Here is a screenshot of the Twitter warning label, which apparently was removed after many users complained about it.

This is what popped up if you clicked on the retweet button.

Misleading? On the contrary, it’s very clear. A healthy young woman, who believed that the vaccine posed a greater risk to her health than contracting the virus itself, was forced to comply with the school’s vaccine requirement for visitors if she wanted to be involved in her children’s classrooms.

She took the vaccine and then died of a vaccine-induced blood clot. She was one of the unlucky ones.

Do you approve of COVID-19 vaccine mandates?

The author of the tweet was not misleading readers, either. She was simply mourning the loss of a young mother who would not have gotten the vaccine (and therefore likely would not have died) had she not been forced to.

Nobody was trying to convince others not to take the vaccine or claiming that it will cause mass deaths.

I am not anti-vax. Vaccines are a potent tool in the fight against COVID. That said, these vaccines do pose a risk to some individuals. Some might have medical reasons for rejecting the vaccine, and others are highly skeptical about taking a vaccine that was developed so quickly. Not everyone needs to be vaccinated.

This is tyranny, and it’s hard to believe this is happening in America.

Obama Sec. Defense: Biden’s Afghanistan Surrender Made Me Physically Sick – Video

With many considering President Biden as just “Obama 2.0,” the odds of President Biden being criticized by an old Obama official seem about as likely as getting eaten by a polar bear.

But Robert Gates, who ran the Pentagon under President Obama and President George W. Bush, told CBS News in a “60 Minutes” interview that he was sick over the Afghanistan withdrawal.

“It was really tough. For a few days there, I actually wasn’t feeling very well. And I realized it was because of what was happening in Kabul,” Gates said.

But Gates went further to clarify that, even though any withdrawal is messy, Biden’s way of doing it was certainly one of the worst of the options available.

“And — and I guess the other — the other feeling that I had was that it probably did not need to have turned out that way,” Gates said.

Biden’s initial optimism about the withdrawal was astounding. The Soviet Union and even Alexander the Great had issues withdrawing from Afghanistan, so that should have cued Biden to the fact that it would be no walk in the park to get American troops out.

“Once President Biden reaffirmed that there was going to be a firm deadline date, that’s the point at which I think they should have begun bringing those people out. You’d have to be pretty naïve not to assume things were gonna go downhill once that withdrawal was complete,” Gates said.

While Gates did also blame former President Donald Trump for some of the issues with the withdrawal, there is no excuse for Biden’s lack of foresight and planning.

“Certainly the military considers withdrawal the most dangerous part of an operation. But … they really had a lot of time to plan, beginning with the deal that President Trump cut with the Taliban. So that was in February of 2020,” Gates said.

Such criticism from Gates, who not only has worked in national security for decades but is also cozy with the Democrats, is a surprising betrayal to the establishment.

However, Gates was not alone in his criticism of Biden’s deadly naivete. The blundering withdrawal drew heavy fire from other Democrats as well. And it’s never a good sign to be so heavily criticized from your own side of the aisle, especially if you were practically hailed as the Christ after being elected over Trump.

Senator Bob Mendez (D-N.J.), chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, released a statement filled with criticism of the whole debacle.

“In implementing this flawed plan, I am disappointed that the Biden administration clearly did not accurately assess the implications of a rapid U.S. withdrawal,” Mendez said.

However, Democrat critics have been careful to not wholly lay the blame at Biden’s feet for the withdrawal disaster. They made sure to mention that Trump was also at fault.

“The wholly inadequate agreement the Trump administration made with the Taliban did not get commitments for the Taliban to break ties with Al Qaeda, nor did it account for the day after our withdrawal,” Mendez said.

And the Washington Post made sure to heap the majority of the blame on Trump’s head in an op-ed headlined, “Trump & Co. engineered the pullout from Afghanistan. Now they criticize it.

And yet, it was Biden, not Trump who was actually responsible for the withdrawal. That is what it means to be the president. The buck stops with you, Biden.

‘BLM’ Silent as Ambush Attack Kills Black Deputy, Injures Two Fellow Lawmen

Black lives matter unless they’re dressed in blue, apparently.

This became all too clear in the early hours of Saturday morning, when police say an ambush-style attack hit three black off-duty deputies working a side job together.

The attack happened at a Houston, Texas, nightclub and left one of the deputies, Kareem Atkins, dead according to KTRK-TV. The other two men survived, but are now fighting to recover from serious injuries. Atkins’ best friend, Deputy Darryl Garrett, was also shot in the same attack.

Garrett’s fiance says the two men were like brothers and she is keeping the news of Atkins’ death from him so as to not jeopardize his recovery. A third deputy, Juquaim Barthen, was also injured in the shooting with non-life-threatening wounds.

The incident started as Atkins and Garrett were responding to a suspected robbery in the nightclub’s parking lot. Once they had the suspect on the ground, a second man emerged and gunned the deputies down. Barthen responded to the resulting commotion and was hit in the leg by gunfire.

Atkins had just returned from paternity leave for his second child.

The suspected shooter is still on the loose.

If there was ever a place for Black Lives Matter to stand up for someone, this is it. One black man was killed and his family left without a father, while two other black men were hit in the same apparent ambush.

Unfortunately, the organization has been completely silent on the matter.

The last couple of posts on the BLM’s Twitter account celebrate an award given to the group and another urges for “true justice” on George Floyd’s 48th birthday. These posts predate the shooting, and nothing has been uploaded to the account since.

The group’s Facebook page did make a post after the shooting, however.

Instead of bringing attention to the senseless anti-cop violence in Houston and the lives it has destroyed, Black Lives Matter was instead pushing for the full removal of police from schools.

Thankfully, Americans can step up for their own countrymen where Black Lives Matter fails to do anything but utterly divide.

According to KPRC, The 100 Club, a group that helps the families of fallen law enforcement and firefighters, is giving $20,000 to the wife of Atkins and will continue to help with education and other finances.

Donations to The 100 Club’s “Survivor’s Fund” can be made here.
