MSNBC Contributor Makes Deplorable Comment About Sarah Sanders Harassment

Published

on

MSNBC contributor Jennifer Rubin stated on the network’s AM Joy program that Press Secretary Sarah Sanders deserves a “life sentence” of being publicly harassed for serving the Trump administration.

This is yet more proof of just how morally bankrupt folks on the left have become as they watch their agenda being torn apart by the president on a daily basis. It’s literally eating their brains up.

Human decency is a thing of the past for the modern day Democratic Party. Granted Rubin claims to be conservative, but it’s pretty clear she’s a fraud.

After recalling the possibility that the two Republican women would vote for a nominee who speaks generally of upholding previous Supreme Court rulings as precedents, but who may still end up voting to overturn Roe V. Wade, Rubin urged pressure on the two Senators to vote against a Trump pick:

The message to those two women by Democrats by pro-choice women in those two states — by the entire states of Maine and Alaska — has to be simple. You vote for this, Ms. Collins, Ms. Murkowski, you have voted to criminalize abortion — this is on you. And we’re not going to accept these nonsense excuses that, ‘Well, because he said he was in favor of precedent, this won’t count, you can vote for him.’ No! It has to be all-out, on the ground in those states.
She then suggested that they may be “phony” in claiming to be “pro-choice” as she added: “Those women Have to be put under a glaring light so that they finally have to make a choice that actually does go against their party. Unless they were just phony pro-choice women all along — which is distinctly possible.”

Later in the show, after claiming that Sanders’s criticism of the press amounts to an “incitement to violence,” claiming that journalists’ “lives are on the line,” Rubin recommended that a million protesters should mobilize to intimidate Sanders as well as Senators Collins and Murkowski. Rubin: “I don’t think what’s most effective is throwing Sarah Huckabee Sanders out of a restaurant. I wouldn’t serve her either, frankly, but what’s most successful is getting a million people on the street to protest.”

Let’s get a million people to go to Maine or a million people to go to Alaska and start putting pressure on those Senators. So it’s perfectly civil to do that — no one is telling them to be violent protesters, but we’re not going to let these people go through life unscathed. Sarah Huckabee has no right to live a life of no fuss, no muss, after lying to the press — after inciting against the press. These people should be made uncomfortable, and I think that’s a life sentence frankly.

Isn’t she just a bright little ball of sunshine? This is precisely the problem with political discourse in the 21st century. Things have gotten far too nasty and out of hand. We need to dial it back a notch, realizing that just because someone sees things differently than we do doesn’t mean that we have to hate on them for it.

Believe it or not we can just simply present our side of the argument and allow the facts to speak for themselves. Desiring for folks to be harassed for life, just because you disagree with their political position on issues facing our nation is completely insane.

Let’s hope common sense and basic human decency trumps political rhetoric before it destroys America.

MUST SEE: Barr Shreds Reporter In Half When She Implies He’s ‘Covering’ For Trump [Video]

Annnnnnd AG Bill Barr just won the internet…

Bill Barr has turned out to be everything President Trump wanted in an attorney general – and more. Former AG Jeff Sessions might’ve faired more favorably in 45’s eyes had he not recused himself from the Mueller investigation, but all of that is in the past. During his Thursday morning address to the media regarding the Mueller report, Barr shut down a reporter who implied he was “covering” for Trump. It was a total boss move. Adam Schiff (CA) is not thrilled with Barr. From Fox News: Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., slammed Attorney General Bill Barr on Thursday, stopping just short of asking for his resignation after saying the redacted Mueller report showed Barr misled the American people with his summary report last month. The House Intelligence Committee chairman held a news conference just hours after the nearly 400-page redacted version of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report was released to the public. Schiff claimed Barr “did a great disservice to the county by misrepresenting significant parts of the Mueller report, by attempting to put a positive spin for the president on the special counsel’s findings” last month. He added, “On the issue of obstruction of justice, the report outlines multiple attempts by the president to mislead the country, to interfere with the investigation, to make false statements to the American people and to urge others to lie to the American people… that these actions had a material impact on the investigation.” Schiff noted, “If the special counsel, as he made clear, had found evidence exonerating the president, he would have said so. He did not. He left that issue to the Congress of the…

GAME ON: Tlaib to Introduce Impeachment Resolution, & Ocasio-Cortez Is EAGER to Sign

GET READY, PEOPLE!

Thursday was a bad one for Democrats. Their deepest fears were confirmed. Conservatives had known from the jump that Trump’s 2016 team never colluded with Russia to defeat Hillary Clinton, but the left continued to harp away despite never finding a single concrete fact. When Attorney General Bill Barr took to the podium to let the nation know exactly what Special Counsel Robert Mueller “found,” the MSM went ballistic. Heck, freshman Democrat Rep. Rashida Tlaib (MI) even moved to introduced articles of impeachment. On what grounds? None, really. And yet, fellow rookie lawmaker Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY) is eager to sign Tlaib’s resolution. She tweeted: Mueller’s report is clear in pointing to Congress’ responsibility in investigating obstruction of justice by the President. It is our job as outlined in Article 1, Sec 2, Clause 5 of the US Constitution. As such, I’ll be signing onto @RashidaTlaib’s impeachment resolution. https://twitter.com/AOC/status/1118989661555372033?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1118989661555372033&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.thegatewaypundit.com%2F2019%2F04%2Frep-alexandria-ocasio-cortez-says-she-will-sign-rep-rashida-tlaibs-impeachment-resolution%2F The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro had eight takeaways from AG Barr’s Thursday presser. Here are two of them… 1. The Trump-Russia Collusion Claims Were Farcically Overblown. While there were certainly members of the Trump team who acted suspiciously – including Trump, who continued to lie to the American public that no work was occurring on the Trump Tower Moscow deal during the 2016 campaign – the claims that Trump was a nefarious Russian agent were comically exaggerated. The Mueller report itself makes this clear: Although the investigation established that the Russian government perceived it would benefit from a Trump presidency and worked to secure that outcome, and that the Campaign expected it would benefit electorally from information stolen and released through Russian efforts, the investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities. 2. The Original Suspicions Regarding The…
